Love Strachan's comments on Artur 'could cause trouble in an empty house' Boruc's God Bless The Pope t-shirt: "He's not a bad lad,the Pope. If it was God Bless Myra Hindley I might have a problem".

Strachan has some quality lines up his sleeve. Boruc probably feels he owes them one. If you see the youtube where they made a huge fuss about him blessing himself, it's amazing to here the amount of abuse those filthy bigots (look it up, Slurms) were giving him before they all decided to cry like slapped babies. He was silly to do it in the context, but sometimes you have to ask whether fans occasionally deserve players telling them where to go.

Allright Boys!! I'm back. Get in there. The quadruple is still on. King Carlos was immense, its amazing what this team has achieved. 3 finals in one season is superb, by anyones standards. Roll on Manchester!!!

I would like to take some credit for the win though. I couldn't watch the penalties as too nervous, so turned over and watched the Gospel channel and prayed! It was showing a service from a church in Brixton, so the pastor from Brixton deserves thanks too. Only just watched the pens, can't believe the Gers were losing!

the word "hun" is classed as bigoted by NBM, which you have used frequently both on here and no doubt in person. This phrase is a disgrace to the memory of the millions of British and Ulster Volunteer soldiers who died in the first world war at the hands of the hun. I haven't responded to this, until you have directly accused me of being a bigot. I have never uttered a bigoted word in my life, unlike yourself. The only filthy bigots (look it up ll), are the ones who still throw mobile phones at Rangers players and smash official supporters coaches.

…and the ones that slash Celtic fans’ necks.

News items from the last month...

Three men, all 21, are due to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court today after a street disturbance in which a man died...The Celtic fan was attacked in the street and it is believed he suffered a heart attack.

------------

A Celtic fan was seriously ill in hospital last night after his throat was slashed during a mass loyalist attack on a pub in central Belfast. The supporter was set upon by a mob of up to 70 Linfield fans returning from yesterday's Irish Cup semi-final clash with Cliftonville at The Oval.

-------------

You are all the same, you've all got a sectarian element within the club - Celtic, Rangers, The Glens, Crusaders, and Linfield. It's a disgrace. And you can stop the internal dialogue; just because I haven't included a news item highlighting a Rangers or Linfield supporter being reported as the victim, doesn't mean I'm in denial. There are innocents on both sides.

To be honest after doing some small research, I'm horrified that it still goes on as much as it does...

:(

It's an abbreviation of Hanoverian, so predates WW1 by a couple of centuries. You can pretend to ride your high horse as long as you want, it's plain from your posts what you think of Irish Catholics.

Origins are irrelevant, it's how you use it - you fenian and hun racialists.

Just getting back to the football (sorry!) but that Cuellar bloke for Rangers is an excellent player. Seen him play a few times this season and he just gets better every time.

Can't see him being there much longer despite them reaching the final. Must be some big European sides eyeing him up.

Spot on....never ever gone in for the race ###### that goes on between Celtic and Rangers. I first wanted Celtic to do well coz when I was a kid in the 90s, they were the underdog and Rangers were winning everything. Simple as that and it stuck. But they're only my 2nd team in Scotland anyway.

  • 3 weeks later...
Rangers have bottled it. 2-0 down at Aberdeen. Celtic 1-0 up.

Title won.

Novo's just got sent off for Rangers and misses the cup final.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer player. Or a nicer team.

Hail Hail, the Celts are here,

What the hell do we care,

What the hell do we care,

Hail Hail, the Celts are here,

What the hell do we care now...

For its a grand old team to play for,

For its a grand old team to see,

And if you know the history,

Its enough to make your heart go,

Nine-in-a-row

We don't care what the animals say,

What the hell do we care,

For we only know,

That there's gonna be a show,

And the Glasgow Celtic will be there.

Sure it's the best darn team in Scotland

and the players they are Grand,

"We support the Celtic"

'cos they are the finest in the land.

We'll be there to give the bhoys a cheer

When the League Flag flies,

And the cheers go up 'cos we know the Scottish Cup

is coming home to rest at Paradise

Cant wait to see Queens stuff Rangers on saturday just to put the icing on the cake!

Fantastic Strachan! Fantastic Celtic!

Just as a matter of interest how many on here have actually been to an Old Firm match ?

I have been to a couple and you have to be at one to understand the "real hatred" between them , I was actually shocked  (I was going to say disturbed but I was already , mentally  )

Been to about 5 or 6 at least, every time my dad had to speak for me for the entire game - until i got old enough to put on the accent properly...!!!

Simply the best games I have ever been to... Especially in the Larsson, Sutton and Hartson era!

... just like what the Oldham V Rochdale games will be like next season..!
