With 42 players this season, the cup competition will start with a group stage. There will be eight groups (two groups of 6 players and six groups of 5 players). Each player will play each of the others in their group once (outcome decided by their head-to-head score for a given fixture). The top two from each of the eight groups will go through to a knockout round of 16, through to a final of two players. I'll try to get the group stage draw done between Xmas and New Year.
