I actively do not want us to sign a 33 year old striker that barely scores. Not saying Fondop is better, but I'd rather just not sign Madine in any capacity whatsoever. We need energy to partner Norwood up front, Stones made that abundantly clear for all to see, that kind of striker is one of our missing puzzle pieces. A role Dallas could fill

I normally just lurk on here and rarely post. But felt compelled to log in just to say that for the love of god I hope we don't sign Gary Madine after all the names that have been mentioned. Bitterly disappointed doesn't even come close. 

Criminal that no one has voted for blue and tangerine in my opinion

That was the worst performance from an Oldham team I think I have ever seen. That Sefil and Iacovitti are absolute dog shit. Worst defenders we've ever had. They all deserved every single bit of stick they got at the end. I think my throat was hurting the amount of booing I did at the final whistle, and I'm not a big fan of booing but boy did that performance warrant it. Fage was decent, Azankpo at least put some effort in, but they are a team and the team performance was fucking dire. I actually feel sorry for Banide. There's no way he's the one that's picked Sefil and Iacovitti. Or if he has, he needs sacking immediately. The major problems we face are because of our inept brothers in charge at the top, but I don't feel sorry for the players. Only ones who looked like he wanted to be there was Fage and Azankpo. The attitude from the rest of them absolutely stank.

Can't see where the goals are going to come from and this has got to be the worst defence in league football history. As it stands can't see us picking up a single point against anybody at all. We played better when we were 3-0 down and then 4-1 down to Peterborough a few years back. I Honestly wouldn't mind if every single one of this starting 11 is released. Embarrassing. One of the worst performances I've ever seen. We've looked like a Isthmian side except for a 15 minute spell in the first half. Not fit to wear the shirt, any of them, as far as I'm concerned. I Honestly can't believe Sefil and Iacovitti are technically classed as professional footballers. What a joke we are 

Might aswell be a friendly for me this. Not interested in the slightest, haven't been interested since they allowed these Premier League youth teams in this competition, and won't be interested until they are removed. Probably won't even keep an eye on the result if I'm honest

But as it stands we are STILL 2 centre halves short for FGR. I can't make it down to FGR anyway but was going to listen on iPlayer, but if Sefil is starting at centre half on Saturday I'm not even going to listen. What is the point. 

After watching that first half, would happily snap your hands off for 17th place as it stands. Defence is absolutely laughable. Could release 9 of these starting lads tomorrow and I wouldn't give a toss. We need major major quality signings in

I'm not panicking too much at the minute. If I remember correctly we didnt sign Callum Lang until August last year. Plenty of time yet. In my view we still need 2 centre backs, a proper left full back (it's not Iacovitti's position) a central or utility midfielder, and at least x2 strikers, in an ideal world, x2 strikers and a winger/attacking mid who can also be thrown up front.

Looks like a decent signing, presumably means that Zeus is definitely gone then. Was hoping to see a striker or winger sign today to be honest but there's still time for one or two more

For some reason I had in my head it was like £150k+ add ons. Don't know why. Can't imagine us bidding 200k for this lad, season long loan seems more realistic

The main thing in this for me personally, I was in two minds whether to get a season ticket or not. After the utter mediocrity of last season, and then seeing the retained/released list, I sort of needed a decent appointment to gauge my interest back up. I'm 28 so I have seen nothing but utter shite watching Oldham. Disappointment after disappointment. 

Maybe my head was in the clouds wanting a Steve evans/Stuart McCall type, considering they wouldn't put up with some of the antics from the chuckle brothers, but that appointment yesterday just knocked the wind out my sails. 

Won't be buying a season ticket I don't think, and I'm only mentioning because I'm guessing there will be more than a few in the same boat as me. It was a good opportunity to get the fans back on board and implement his "long term vision" he discussed in his statement, and I couldn't be less enthused. 

I'm willing to judge him on his results and give the guy a chance but my interested is approaching nil. Starting to wonder why I even like football in the first place you can't fall out of love with the game but Latics are certainly pushing their luck on that one 

I thought April fools jokes were reserved for April the 1st? Really can't state how underwhelmed I am with this. Last managed a Qatar club 2 years ago, yep I'm sure he knows boatloads about league 2. 

Absolutely gutted. Pretty much sapped the last tiny bit of enthusiasm I had for this season

Not good enough today. Second half was disastrous. Hunt had a really poor game, defended too deep, along with bury being a good side.

Lot of work to do in the summer for Scholes. Hope he manages to bring in 3 or 4 decent players.

Been a pretty depressing 23 years as an Oldham fan and going from 15th placed finishes is league one to 15th place finishes in league 2 is pretty depressing. But with a few good additions can see us having a good year next year. Onwards and upwards eh

Very nervy about this one today. Bury have got some very good forward players and are rightly up there in the league, Will be a had job to stop them playing today. Massive games from Clarke and George needed. Would take a draw if offered now. Hoping the boys can pull another excellent away performance out of the bag in front of another excellent away following and bag all 3 points though! COYB
