Going
Fair play to your fans today, great turnout and made for a great atmosphere . Thought you defended well first half but fitness and quality showed in the end. Mayor was surprising quiet but when you have Maynard, Oshea and Adams with Rossiter absolute class in midfield it's never going to be easy.
Some of our fans doubted Lowe end of last season but he inherited a crap squad. Give Scholes time and a transfer window
Next stop Wembley
Ps Dale and Horwich are going down so always a positive lads

I’m going for a 2-2 draw in front of 5236 fans with Dearnley and Lang scoring
5236?? You are joking, they'll be 7500

Wouldn't get too excited about that new owner, you don't know his intentions and you've got another winding up order to fend off
Winding up order from previous owner, all debts paid. No loans secured on the ground anymore and the owners putting Gigg in trust for the fans so it can never be sold by future owners. Building hotel at Carrington, swimming pool And indoor pitches. Clubs on the up

So now your doing so great , will you no longer be outnumbered and outsang at your place ? Are you still taking a rubbish following everywhere ? We are crap but still follow our team in numbers. So I’ll say Bury fans deserve fuckall. Bunch of tossers. I live here btw so know it’s full of twunts. Good luck.
so much anger, dont get too excited you wont be outnumbering us saturday . so you live in Bury and call all Bury folk twunts? makes sense

Pff - even if you go up you'll still be back down here in 5 years.
Not a chance, clubs on the up. Relegation is the best thing that could have happened to us, new owner, new manager, youth set up doing outstanding, academy taking off and fans starting to get behind the club after years of crap. This is the start of something decent for a change and no one can say our fans don't deserve it after so many bad times

It's Bury lads, not Barcelona. We'll roll them.
Rossiter will boss midfield, class act, far too good for this div as is Mayor, Oshea, Maynard, Adams, Moore, Mcfadzean basically our whole side

Yeah I had feeling, it would be rather worried if our teams were doing their scouting based on internet message boards.

Hope Scholes doesn't read this board Buryshaker!
You've given him advance warning of our likely side and clues about how to stop us from playing!
Not hard to work out even for a guy with no managerial experience

if hes fit you would be mad not to play him. doesnt matter how crap he is he always scores against us.

You play with 3 in midfield whether that be Danns, Rossiter or O’Connnell complimenting the other two. I believe Rossiter got injured at Exeter? Either way and whichever one out of the 3 you play alongside Mayor and O’Shea they would be playing against a midfield 4 if we played a narrow diamond. The idea is stopping the source of over half of your goals which are these two. Of course that means there are gaps elsewhere but should we win the midfield battle then theoretically your wingbacks would do more defensively than offensively and as such the plan could work.
As stated in previous post, if we don’t get it right and it doesn’t work, retreat into a flat 5 across the middle and get our wide midfielders watching the movement out wide of Adams and McFadzean and just try and nullify the threat of Mayor and O’Shea the best you possibly can.
All the while trying to hit on the counter attack with pacey frontmen (if they are fit)
Very tough game but hope we can give as good as we get
Rossiter is fit he just got cramp. key is the wing backs who support the middle 3 for us and switch it to a 5 at will. Going forward no team can match us but we are average in defence (individually decent defenders but crap at defending crosses) vulnerable from wide positions. Murphy is a very average keeper in my opinion and refuses to come off his line for anything, that is how you'll beat us, that and trying to keep mayor, adams, oshea rossiter, moore and Maynard quiet

The condition of my back lawn is excellent when you compare it to BP playing surface.
Having checked the highlights of the game at Gigg Lane versus Crawley, it looks somewhat worn and boggy but definitely an improvement on our own surface.
I presume that you guys will be resting a few on Saturday so they will be fresh for the big Checkatrade game against Pompey?
was bad one game due to torrential rain but its very flat and defo not boggy. dries out well so id expect a good passing surface which suits us perfectly. we hate playing in conditions like we saw at your place. got to say that first 45 mins was massively out of character

Weird one this...on paper it's sadly a routine home win. However, funnily enough I'm more relaxed about it following drawing with Crewe and losing to Morecambe.
For me, we have to starve their midfield of possession. They have Mayor and O'Shea who basically do it all for them, so I think if we stop them, we stop Bury and they may have to resort to playing long.
The way to do this, I think is, despite them playing with wingbacks and using the width, they do this to open up gaps in the middle so those two mentioned can roam. Therefore, i'd play a narrow diamond and make it a real battle in midfield. This would starve them of space and force them wide. Albeit, we may be caught 1v1 out wide, as long as you defend the box, we should be absolutely fine.
I'd play:
Iversen
Hunt Clarke Edmundson Nepomuceno
Missilou
Maouche Branger
Baxter
Dearnley Lang
The two strikers are basically to break with pace. If it doesn't work, you could always drop back into a 5, move Dearnley out one side and Branger out on the other.
Just my thoughts
our midfeild isnt just oshea and mayor we have now signed Rossiter whose been immense since coming and Adams has 10 assists and deliverers more crosses than any other player in the football league. not too shabby. Be a cracking game and great atmosphere lads

West stand we’ve sold 1200+ in
East Stand we’ve sold 1354 which is the first allocation of tickets they gave us
Got about 800 tickets left, reckon we will shift 100/200 next couple of days. Unsure on POTD atm
Both stands will be packed and bouncing so fans shouldn’t worry about being in a “non-atmospheric” stand
Won't be bouncing when we score a few
