A hopeful Shrimper here. A hope you stuff Halifax out of sight tonight, even a point will do (for us). If all that happens then Saturday will be squeaky bum for all of us clubs still in with a sniff. Because we Sarfenders are a sad old bunch, be aware that dozens of us will tune in to the game on NL streaming, all being honorary Latics for the night.
Apologies in advance

They would have had to play those games whatever but now when they play us at Chesterfield they won't have 1800 fans backing the opposition.Whose gonna go to Chesterfield midweek?
1800 booing them off the pitch and letting them know they aren’t fit to wear the shirt?

I think that the pitch has lasted well this season. However, it needs a lot more bedding in to happen ahead of next season.
I notice that the ball still bobbles along the surface (when we play it on the ground) in comparison to the better pitches.
Hopefully a good close season will help…
I think I must have been looking at my phone when that analysis was possible.

Would like to buy my seats again in JRS but its being removed for a vomitory!
must be due to our shocking home form!
Has anything else been disclosed? Is it a much needed cunning plan to access the fans bar from the stand?

Willoughby for Ayre
According to BBC v Rangers he was voted player of the match. Really pleased for him.
Not bad for a 78th minute sub

Had another quick look - just one away ticket left!
I have just accessed the ticket sales from the link on the Kidderminster website. The only tickets now being offered for visitors are for the Chaddy End Turnstiles 3-8

I’ve been seeing loads of references to talking the ball on the half-turn (at least three times over the past few pages of this thread).
Please can someone educate this football-tactics dimwit as to what this means in practice?

They hoof it because when they do give it to Sheron or Lundstram they are usually facing their own goal. It then goes sideways or back to them so slowly that they are usually under pressure so have no option but to hoof it!.
Midfielders need to play on the half turn and ours just don't or can't.
In the hurricane at home to Barnet the midfielders (particularly Conlon on his debut) did take it on the half turn and as a consequence we played football. I’m sure I wasn’t alone thinking it was a turning point.

I understand your post, but arnt you highlighting a shit transfer window ?
We have 16 games to get into the play offs. We can’t afford 10 games of letting the team gel and get match fit.
More so, the team we had prior to the window was showing top 3 form over 20 games…
We needed a right back and a couple of centre mids to come in and make a difference from the off.
You can have as many better midfield players as you want, but if the defenders just hoof it over their heads it makes no difference. Sadly and also because the game was such an awful watch, I rewound from a hoofed clearance or two to see easy 10-15 yard passes on to the feet of a midfielder. Is that following instructions, a lack of awareness or panic?

Off to the Caribbean 10th Feb, does anyone know the ETA for Frank in Antigua? Would be fantastic if I was there to see him arrive.
https://www.worldstoughestrow.com/
His ETA is constantly updated depending on his progress, he’s slowed down over the last couple of days because of the wind direction.

Not sure about that, albeit I’m not a frequent visitor to the site.
The packages page has this info on it:
Welcome to the home of National League TV.
Here you can find the packages available to you in your region. Due to rules around UEFA's Article 48 matches that kick-off on a Saturday at 3pm are not available for broadcast domestically and these fixtures will only be available to fans based internationally.
On another page:
What games can I watch? Print
Modified on: Sat, 10 Dec, 2022 at 1:54 PM
The fixture list on the home page will only show games available in your region. If a game is not shown in the fixture list, it is not available where you live.
which suggests it is available

Change the name of this thread from v Gateshead to v Real Madrid cos we made them look like Real Madrid. From back to front they were popping the ball between themselves. 1-0 was a travesty at HT as was evidenced by the 2nd half. Fair play to Mellon, I wouldn’t expect to throw anyone under the 409 post match in his interview, but I’m hopeful that he does behind closed doors. Gateshead weren’t packed with superstars, but to a man they were far better than anyone in a blue shirt today.

Agree - and the same can be said of offside, which was a rule to stop goal-hanging and not to decide which single pixel of shirt is further forward than the other.
…..and level is onside, when did VAR ever declare a player level?

Done this on my iPhone. App to Home Screen is fine, but I have two tickets and so I want mine in my Apple wallet and my wife’s in hers.
However, the in app option to add to Apple wallet just brings up an error. Needs fixing.
Good start though.
Yep, I couldn’t get in my apple wallet either.

How does that work, I got a message to say my ST card was ready for collection.
Scroll down, there’s a ‘click here’ and instructions for apple and android.
it’s basically creating a shortcut to your e-ticket on your Home Screen.
