Yeah, that was my understanding.
Would rather fuck off home than a night together at a luxury hotel for team bonding with a day off on the Thursday anyway.
Right I see. Then tiredness was blamed for getting stuffed by Ebbsfleet 4-1 two days later..

It was more the fact that he asked for a two night stay at the luxury hotel and had the use of the gym and pool, spa for team bonding . The captain complained that they didnt want to spend the second night and kicked up a fuss. The extent was that the hotel made them packed lunches for the way home and the captain said this was crap food and the squad would eat shit at the service station: Mickey apparently exploded as they also had Thursday off and realised he was looking after a bunch of kids.
So you mean they were going to stay over on the Wednesday night but went home after the game instead?

"Dire" maybe a tad harsh, but I'll be glad not to see him go down injured for the billionth time again. Usually when we're chasing the game.....
Or trying to Referee the game and then getting booked...

Plenty of nonsense in selecting repeatedly failed players during this poor run.
I thought you meant no nonsense in the strong discipline sense.
Some strange selections I agree but to be fair to him when the whole squad is crap you are always going to be selecting failed players.

Another who'd take no nonsense is Clint Hill, now assistant manger at promoted Stockport County.
A step up to manage his old club might appeal.
We've already got a Manager who takes no nonsense though..

Nailed on to sign for FGR and bag a hattrick against us on opening day.
Nah. Him and big Mike Fondop would have a big punch up in the first minute and both get sent off...

I was Told today that Norwood & Conlon won’t be here next season.
Good. Especially Norwood. Go and be a primadonna in someone else's team.

no I didn't because I spent several years in a nasty Spanish gaol for my alleged part in the importation of large quantities of controlled drugs from Morocco.
Blimey and I thought I had it bad watching Oldham....

There was a home game a while back (I’m sure someone will remember) they had played a practice match midweek in a different shape, we lost the league game and afterwards Mellon said - ‘I tried to do something different today and it didn’t work, from now on we’ll stick to what we’re good at it, I know what we are now. The blindingly obvious implication was- we’re not good enough to play so it will be percentages football.
That was Borehamwood I think. Absolutely terrible first half with that lad we signed from Gateshead being particularly bad. Changed it 2nd half and we managed to scrape a win.

I'd like to say unbelievable but sadly its not. I could have gone today, I just chose not to because I could sense something like this coming. I don't know what the voodoo is that keeps us down but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
Yep same here. Couldn't face it today. Thank God. Renewed my season ticket yesterday though...

Can you make sure you are stood on an edge of a cliff when you do?

Oh and can someone remind the ball boys what their job is. Won't move unless the ball is right next to them, lazy shits
Yes. Never mind the deficiencies in the team, it is about time we got some new ball boys as they move at the speed of arthritic hamsters with some heavy shopping. We waste so much time getting the ball back that it breaks up any momentum. At one point Hudson had to get a new ball because the lad in the Chaddy End couldn't find the ball when it had only gone 4 rows back!

Season tickets have to be shown at the turnstiles, so the attendance should be bodies through the gates and bums on seats.
We have had these discussions before and I thought it was established season tickets holders are counted whether they turn up or not.
23 hours ago, Wardie said:I assume attendance figures also include corporate boxes, invited guests etc.
And the away team players and management are included as well judging by the likes of Borehamwood...

Yeah exactly my opinion , very weak in the tackle and lost several that he should have won. Gets in some good positions but doesn’t know what to do with it when he gets the ball. Lot to prove for me.
But going off what I saw yesterday he was a lot better than Lundstrum...

What did you think of the performance of their number 5. The one you thought we should have signed?
Outjumped by the 5ft 10 Norwood for our goal..

Go on, force yourself. We don't do 3-0 away from home, 2 is the best we normally manage.
Oh right fair enough, if it is only 2 I might make the effort then and at least we'll lose to a team I've heard of this week...
At least it won't be as bad as losing 3 nil to your lot when we got relegated from League 1 with the orange tanned Phil Brown celebrating on the sidelines and our idiot owner Lemsagram emerging from the home dressing room after having a go at the team at halftime....
-
Don't think I can put myself through the inevitable 2 or 3 nil defeat. I've got some paint to watch...
