When I got to the bit about your 14 year old, I filled up.
Oldham Athletic, how do you explain it. Been married for over 35 years & my wife still doesn't understand, - god knows, I've tried.
Your post gives me hope.

Exactly, what was originally posted was one of the best central defenders to wear a blue shirt. In his time at Latics I wouldnt have said that. He came to us at the end of his career and did an average job. Hill and Hall were hitting their peak and therefore were miles better for LATICS. In his time elsewhere I didnt watch Gregan or take a hint of interest in him, but he certainly wasnt in the top 10 LATICS defenders. From what I have seen at BP Hall and Hill stand head and shoulders above Gregan
Amazed Paul Warhurst's name hasn't been mentioned.

From United website
Lindegaard set for knee op
The club have confirmed that goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard will undergo knee surgery on Thursday.
The operation will keep the United stopper on the sidelines for the next five weeks.
Since signing for the Reds in January, the Dane has made two appearances in goal. His debut came in the 2-1 FA Cup win at Southampton and he kept a clean sheet in the next round victory over Crawley Town at Old Trafford.

Went into Stockport at 8.30 this morning.
Because of traffic, I parked on the car park about 100 yards from E.P. With the heavy rain it was like a skid pan.
Within 5 minutes, I saw 5 different people slip on their backsides, and this was crossing the main A6 by the Town Hall.
If it thaws enough, I thinks the pitch will be waterlogged - not looking good

Just walking back to work from my lunch and have just seen Robinho and Caicedo getting in to a car.
They must have been on their way back from Manchester Airport !
Robinho is bigger than I thought

Fantastic post. Is there an e-mail address for the squad?

Simon + Simon + Danny,
Action had to be taken, and you took it, unpleasant as it must have been.
Hopefully Joe will give the squad, staff, fans, town and importantly owners a msch needed lift. If there is one constant on this board, it is admiration for the 3 of you. You deserve better from the town, and if success comes along it would than overdue, given your fantastic support.
One point to consider. When Joe 'walked on water' before, he did it by giving opportunity to good young footballers who were not getting a fair crack at their club. Their talents were developed, some sold to pay the bills (at a huge profit) many of the others were moulded into a team, that if the let 6 goals in, they would try to score 7.
If Joe's (full time) return is for the short term, a manager at a certain south Manchester club seems to be be adopting similar principles???
Good Luck and thanks.

Do you know something we don't?
Judging by the background to the picture of S.G. (in PINK!) don't think we will need a Goalkeeper on Saturday.
Or is the white stuff just there so we can spot the kit?
