  1. Don’t know why Vera is getting stick, thought he had a decent game, good touch, good vision, brought others into play. Lang getting praised when he was arguably our worst player, even clearing our shot off their line 🤷🏻‍♂️ And constantly offside. Branger is the type of player who does better at the end of a game, maybe suited to coming on as a sub.

Baxter did alright when he came on and all subs did well, especially the United lad, direct, pacey, good on the ball and a good confident finish. Iversen kept us in it at times and he really is an underrated keeper! Let’s hope we can push on and win these 3 home games now. And let’s hope the chairman can let Scholes get on with the job.

Edit... It’s still an absolute disgrace that players are being frozen out and being made to train with the youths.

  2. Can’t see the game being on... also can’t see this team being played at all... mainly due to managers negative tactics and also chairman’s influence.

    Iverson

    Hunt

    Clarke

    Stott

    Lacovitti (spelling)

    Dearney (spelling)

    Sylla

    Maouche

    Baxter

    Nepo

    Vera

With the rest on the bench...

Hunt is obviously being frozen out so hamer will be there. Edmundson will probably play but I think he’s been shaky recently and needs a rest and Stott deserves a start.

We are at home to one of (probably THE) worst teams in the league... don’t play two defensive midfielders.

Its a first in my time on the Trust and one that our web Guru Darren has been in discussions with/meeting with Blitz and Gazal to arrange out of his own personal time

They are very keen to engage with the fans.

Why? They bailed on us... left us to die a slow painful death which is still happening... leaving corney to take all the flack. Spat their dummies out over failsworth. Rinse the club of any money it makes especially with the new stand.

Why are they back on the scene? Showing up at matches, celebrating on the pitch at Fulham.

For me Branger’s had his moments in the last two FA Cup games, such as doing a good job of keeping possession and running the clock down against Fulham, but I think his decision making is poor and his delivery from set pieces is truly awful. I have no idea why he’s taking them.

He put a peach of a cross in for Clarke to stick home against Notts county...

All our set pieces are shit... not just branger...

    nepo, Gardner, Maouche, Baxter

All been guilty of not beating first man.

So to pick him out is strange.

I agree but hes appointed Darren Ferguson 3 times. How forward thinking is he?

Still a decent appointment. We’ve done same in the past with shez...

The way this has been handled has been nothing short of shambolic... and to be fair, the way the clubs being run is shambolic!

The trust need to be asking serious questions about AL and everything around it now.

We will never move forward and improve with all these ridiculous politics behind the scenes and interference and mismanagement.

Thought Sylla did okay,  Branger is running out of chances tbh and the fact he's playing where Nepo is ten times more effective is annoying.

Sylla was decent today. Branger was really good... but that’s not true, branger should be right wing and nepo left wing and Lang should be central, proved that once again today. And then wide players where playing there when we had decent form at start of season.

He is a UEFA A licence coach, he knows all the players and is about all we have left in terms of coaching staff. I can't imagine for one minute he will either get the job full time or even want it, but, as someone holding the fort for the time being, I would say he is the most suitably qualified person for it...

That and he’s your source of information... 😂

The squad is big. . 😂

Ok- who comes in for Clarke or George? Oh that’s right, a kid on loan from Sheffield United. I’ll put it another way- this promotion chasing team we supposedly are has a kid, an old pro, and another kid on loan as it’s ‘options’ at centre half. That’s just one area of the massive squad I can be arsed highlighting.

8 unbeaten- ‘but we  beat two non league teams in that run’ if my auntie had bollocks she’d be my uncle. The simple fact is we beat them.

He would of been sacked after Hampton- see above.

Whose papering over the cracks?? Not one person has suggested he was doing a terrific job, or was the second coming. However was he doing that badly to warrant the sack?? Not a chance.

There isnt one justifible reason to sack him.

Unless your egomaniac like our owner.

The squad is big... and I’ll agree we have no cover at centre half, but that’s Bunns fault as he put this squad together, signed about 15 midfielders, a few bang average forwards and a few full backs. The rest are crocks... coke, Miller, Baxter, lyden just to name a few. Then we have the rest like benteke and branger who add zero.

Was guna get the sack after Hampton as you pointed out but didn’t deserve the sack? Hmm make your mind up.

Ive given you reasons... justifiable ones. Tactics, subs, team selection, style of play, inability in the transfer market, results.... oh and getting dicked by the football powerhouses Carlisle.

And im not defending the owner either. He’s a tosser too.

    Bollocks.

In what way has he underachieved MASSIVELY???

    We have no money.

    The squad is really thin.

We have a very erratic owner.

    He sacked his number two.

We were on the verge of the playoffs two games ago.

We had just gone 8 unbeaten two games ago.

    Where (should) we be?

How any fair minded fan can look at the big picture and say Bunn was underachieving is beyond me.

It’s actually quite a big squad... he just signed a lot of crocks who are permanently injured.

As you pointed out, we improved after his number two left.

This is a very, very poor league and any decent manager would have us in the play offs, not just challenging.

8 unbeaten, two of which included non league teams... which one of them we literally scraped through.

He would have been sacked at 9.25 of the Hampton game but somehow saved his skin. His team selection and tactics and subs are some of the worst we’ve ever seen.

I’ll give you bury at home... that was decent. But let’s not paper over the cracks of how terrible a manager he was.

  10. Don’t get the stick Hunt gets.. top class player for our level and can play left or right back (I personally think he’s better at left back). Think he’s been one of the better players this season and most consistent.

Whoever plays right back is on a hiding to nothing because they get no support from the right midfielder (usually Lang) who runs around a hell of a lot... just not backwards and often out of position... (once again yesterday proves he should be up front)... and the right back is always doubled up on if not tripled up on (happened a couple of times yesterday where they won the ball in that area and squared it in the box). Exeter just had the right man finishing them off yesterday!

Our only rivals of the last 20 years? Nah.

Bury, who I want to beat more than Tranmere this season.

Then there's Rochdale, Plastics, Bastards, Burnley, Notlob, Huddersfield, Citeh, Stockport, Bradford and Leeds. Plus you can probably add Blackpool and Doncaster in there too. Scunny aren't far off either.

Tranmere might be the rival we've played most in the last 25 years but they aren't our only rival.

I'd agree they might be the side that hates us the most, but that's only because we're not in the same league as Huddersfield and Rochdale. If Bury and us remain in separate leagues from Rochdale for prolonged periods that hatred might shift too.

Sorry to break it to you but half of them are not rivals from the last 20 years. Only Huddersfield and they’ve past us and now lie 3 leagues higher... we only played Stockport a few times along with the others once or twice.

So yes... Tranmere probably is our biggest rival of the last 20 years.

We’ve played donny, Blackpool and scunny a lot but there’s no rivalry there. If you’re going with that then add Walsall and Crewe to the list.
