Social media is a bad format to advetise on (as many of the companies advertising on them are finding out). People go on such things to socialise and take little notice of the adverts. The amount of money raised through them is very minimal. Kitkat were the first to find this out when their sales stayed level despite a multi million dollar advertising campaign on MSN messenger service.

 

I couldn't tell you what any of the adverts on this site are about exept one which was for a dating site.

To be fair Facebook can be used as a massive marketing tool. People make huge sums of money using purely facebook for marketing.

My mate who works behind the scenes at Latics on matchdays spoke to Morais a couple of weeks ago & he told my mate it was just a case of getting everyone together to sign the contract and with holidays etc he didn't expect to offical sign for a few weeks. I don't know if he was just saying that to keep him happy or not.

He got offers from us, Scunthorpe, Chesterfield & Oxford. However Oxford offered twice as much as everyone else & it was a two years deal.

Apparently Smalley is on the verge for signing for Oxford Utd on a 2 years deal. There were four deals on the table for him, however Oxford offered twice as much as everyone else.

I won't be backing it, but its not without a chance and is arguably the best horse in the race, having finished 4th in the Cheltenham Cold Cup.

Has got a good chance, however I think it will struggle with the trip.

My daughter used to work behind the main stand bar for a season and she was rarely paid the correct amount and never on time. It is a shambles form top to bottom.

Similar situation when I was a ballboy in the late 90's. In my first season with the first team games we got a drink & something eat from the pie stand. In my second season we went to coffee from a flask & rich tea biscuits!! If Facebook had been around I would have vented my anger in no uncertain terms. Should have seen these problems occurring then.
