Personally no idea how we might have messed up but have heard that from 3 different sources as to why espanyol don't know either but was something a hardy mentioned, really liked the look of him though and think he could make a big difference.seems a bit silly to have him play 4 games without discussing money hence the can't afford him bit and then signing Matt Lund makes me think either no.4 can't play at the mo or isn't actually signing
-
Can't afford him my a r s e been told we messed it up, was waiting for his last two teams espanyol and real c to confirm no money wanted for training as under 23, wages agreed etc just paperwork. Advertiser has it we're still waiting for that comp confirmation stuff

Sure that it is staff (with passes) only
think the bigger one is pay and display through the week and used normally on sat, the smaller one I think is for staff, well alan anyway
-
Are you telling me he watched Massimo Taibi play before signing him? Surely not!!
am sure I read that 5 weeks before united bought him from Vitória de Guimarães for 7.4mill they signed him for nothing from a third division side

was in the sun newspaper.
my boy was mascot today and the very nice lady who looked after him said they (tranmere) turned down a small figure from ronnie over the hill which they turned down and then this morning he handed in a transfer request
-
He's perfect for us then! Sign him up
Oumare Tounkara it is, was sat two rows in front of me with another guy with a short mohican hair cut and really bad but prob expensive jeans

Maybe not, but consider that Kieran Lee can cover anywhere in the midfield or the other full back position and it becomes quite useful to have a competent right back to bring in, especially if Lomax is on his way out.
personally thought the trialist looked like kazenga lualua, younger brother of the congolese striker from newcastle, looks like merlin isnt a white right back
-
You were there alan you know what we need
mmmm hard choice between holland pies, pretty girls and the prices

have two spare tickets for tonights game against tranmere, in the main stand I believe, maybe a meal in the box unsure as their a mates who won them in an auction.
check with Ian at PCAssist 0161 287 8877

There were a few highlights from the game on Tuesday, one being the performance of Seb Gas Leakin, but for me the real highlight of the trip wasn't on the pitch, but during the build-up. Earlier we met at a hotel on the M6 for a pre-match meal.
While in the car park a lad dressed in Derby County gear came up and introduced himself to us as JJ. Apparently he was just starting a month's loan from the Rams, so we just assumed the gaffer had brought in someone. He then joined us in the canteen.
A bit of small talk and couple of slices of toast later he felt a bit more acquainted with everyone. Even the gaffer came over and introduced himself but he thought it was a friend of one of the players so didn't question it too much.
Then JJ [Jermaine Johnson] got a call, "Yeah I'm here with the guys…", he paused then realised that he was with the wrong team. He got up quietly, took his bags and left without a word.
Apparently he was in fact on loan at Stafford Rangers, and when he saw us he assumed that's who we were. Whether he just fancied a free meal or didn't see the large Tamworth Football Club badges on our tracksuits I'm not sure. It's a shame because I think he and big Trev [Trevor Benjamin] really hit it off.

they have to spend 6mill on buying thorpe road back by the end of august or loose the rights to use it apparently, also need to re-purchase elland road before a certain timeline as well

Strange though it may seem, not all Latics fans are Oldham folk, and many who are steer clear of Mcr, except for special occasions such as this.
whats everyone done for tickets, is it going to be ticketmaster and there superfluos extra charges or touts on the day?

obiging fella played second half at centre half with haining who play the full game, first half lewis emmanuel at left back (didnt do anything), eardley right (was rubbish), according to chrissy taylor the unknown striker who looked a bit like porter was from hungary along with the long haired fella who was subbed for obiwhatever, second half whittaker and rowney in the middle (rowney looked good again but baldy bob keeped loosing the ball) with Alessandra and foreigner up front. I also thought it was a diferent keeper who played in the first half with brill filling in for the second

Hi Guys.
I am delighted to inform everyone that having spoken to Neal's mum personally this afternoon I can confirm that Neal is the picture of health, however she is touched that people still care so much.
I'm sure this news will be as happily received as it was when I heard it, having been slightly apprehensive when I spoke to her!
I also thought I'd take the opportunity to help Penney out a bit and told her 'on behalf of the club' that we would be delighted to have him back should Preston be looking to get him some match practice!!!!
Cheers
Chris
excellent news, the story I heard came a very reputable but he was a bit drunk at the time so just wait till I see him again

Things change so quickly in football, don't be too down hearted.
back when they it look like the club was going to disapear there was a spark of interest and fight everywhere you looked whereas at the moment its just a general apathy and indifference and thats just the playing staff, even the people who been here for 25 years are feelling the apathy, its grim but it can and will get better.
basically needs a massive injection of fun and something that will spark it all off again

Little bit of an update for those who are interest. Mums currently in Oldham Royal suffering from what looks like Pneumonia.
In her fragile state this is not good.
She's a lifelong latics fan and has been to more games than i can remember. I'm hoping we can give her a win on sunday.
Bump because I thought it needed it
