  1. Peterborough were after him this time last year and he turned them down....

The 23-year-old former Arsenal trainee, who has scored 12 goals in 28 appearances this season, was given permission to speak to Posh on Sunday.

A club statement said Murphy "does not wish to make such a move at this time".

  2. Don't think i'd be too dissapointed if Wilson was to move for a decentish fee (no doubt be undiclosed) and we signed Reece Brown. Sure united rated him pretty highly when he was there but for one reason or another it didn't work.

Would be a bit more to put towards a striker and a replacement for Dayts, Do hope Poleon get to start a few more games though could be quite useful if he get his confidence up and bags a few more.

  3. When you said he wouldn't mind signing for a League 1, I kind of believed you until you said you were watching Soccer AM and then realised you're on wind-up....nobody watches Soccer AM since Lovejoy left surely?!

I think that everytime i watch it totaly different when he left. But....theres nothing else to watch.

  4. I know its a LONGSHOT and another midfielder but......

Jack Collison has just been on Soccer AM and said he is looking for a club. He hasn't played since last season and wants some first team games in the last three months of the season.

They did say to him what division is he aiming for and he wouldn't mind Championship/League 1.

  5. Exactly, it's not as if our previous signing of an ex-con was a major success. Hughes turned out to be a weapons grade bellend. An awful, awful decision by the club and one I truly hope backfires on them

He managed just under a goal every other game, I would says thats pretty successful on a personal point. And you could tell Hughes was a grade A Bell by looking at him.

  6. A fair amount. We did not learn from it, mainly.

I did not agree with that decision either, but he clearly expressed remorse.

And It was a first. Twice is careless at best.

Did we make a fortune out of Hughes. No.

Did he get rehabilitated. Very obviously not.

Did he fire us to promotion. No.

Did he cause the fans to join together. No.

He had to express remorse there was no way he was getting away with what he done.

Don't think we were ever going to make a fortune out of Hughes due to his age.

We got quite close to promotion didn't we then he went on loan to Blackpool.
