How anyone can advocate offering Ngoo a contract is staggering! Hasn't even come close to scoring a goal or threatening the oppositions goal. Gave away a last minute penalty and got sent off in a big game for two pointless lunges. Seems more of a comedy act than a footballer!
I'd offer Brian Wilson another year and Green if the terms are reasonable (don't know what kind of money he's on).

It looks awful - and we are not the only club that suffers bad weather.
It seems to have been a handicap for the last few seasons - wonder how many points we lose due to it? How many supporters do we lose because it's impossible to play good football.
Feels like we need to do something in the closed season to rectify this for next season.
I'm pretty confident Millwall would have turned us over had the pitch been in better condition. I think it works massively in our favour as it did last season. We haven't outplayed a team all season so a pitch that suits a team of grafters over a team of footballers suits us in my opinion.

Took a decent set piece and has at least one assist - Clarke at Bradford also got a Wigan player wound up enough to get himself sent off for retaliation. Never got a decent run in the team. Didn't see him in pre season. What I did see was a tackler who could -a measure a dead ball. His susceptibility to knocks and strains probably cost him another 6 months.
Good luck to him seemingly one of the games good guys from his tweets, giving tickets out and always had time for my mates grandson.
Took a decent free kick and put himself about, but, from the games I saw him play he looked nowhere near good enough ability wise. Seemed to spend most of the game playing for free kicks rather than actually using the ball effectively.

Get some wins in bloody sharpish. I reckon we need a minimum of 7 out of 22 games, 8 more likely. We play 4 of the current top 6 in our last 7 games.
Sheffield h, Southend a, Fleetwood h, Bolton h, Bristol R a, Rochdale h,Wimbledon a. I wouldn't want to be in the bottom four when that run starts.
On the bright side we are 3 points off safety this year compared to 5 points off last year. We also have1 or 2 games in hand on the others in the bottom six. Last year we had one game in hand on 3 of them. 47 points would have been enough to keep you up last year but in general the bottom six have a point or two fewer than those last year and have played a game more.
On the negative side I can't see 12th placed Oxford helping us out by doing a Donny and they are 3 points better off than Donny were this time last year.
Also those 7/8 wins aren't obvious either. The main contenders should be Gills,Cov, Bury, Peterborough and Charlton at home and Chesterfield away and three of those are in the next five games. Skates on John.
7 wins won't keep us up, would mean losing less than 5 games between now and the end of season to get the minimum required points from draws. 10+ wins required for me.

I dont post on here but I read the forum. I have supported this club since 1976, this is a dying club.
Has anybody thought of doing a FC United. A breakaway club owned by the fans who all put money into it i.e £5 pw, imagine 5000 oldham fans doing that.
we could rent/ share a ground and all have a say and vote on what happens.
Im no business man but this is possible surely. Figures are just off the top of my head but I wonder if someone was serious enough could this happen.
Dont shoot me just sick to death of years of excuses.
I don't post much on here either, but I've seen and heard some ludicrous suggestions lately. What would this achieve? We still have a league 1 club to follow. As odd as the fellow on the BBC Manc the other day suggesting we 'do a Chester'. Can't just fold the club and start again cos it isn't going how the fans would like it.
A fan run club would be great, the current club that is, but would we honestly get enough fans willing to put money in every year on top of buying season tickets, shirts, travel costs etc. I very much doubt it.

Can't we all get over this interview analysis, he interviews as well as the average manager, not as good as some but better than others. All this judgement and assumption based on the odd two minute is just a nonsense.
Thank you.
Agreed!

Although I'd rather he didn't leave, if the rumoured £100k is true then that's not terrible business for a 29 year old with a poor injury record & only one 10+ goals season in the last few years.

She was from Oldham, supporting south failsworth school. Nothing to suggest she was a fan of the club.

Might have a slim chance of getting Gerrard if he enjoyed his time here, I'd have thought both will be looking for and will probably receive much better terms than we could offer though.

Just received an email from Andy Steel in the ticket office, refunds of seasons tickets can be made if you have the receipt. Now the decision I have to make if do I ask for it back? I have only been twice this year because of the repeated garbage put on display. I was motivated to help the club "take off" post capital investments and fully expected a decent manager/coach.
Can't hide the fact that the club has repeatedly gone for the cheapest manager out there....and we have reaped the rewards.
Get a grip!
-
That's what the handful of fans sulking about it make it sound like. Need to move with the times, Chaddy End died a death years ago.
-
Fans threatening to not renew season tickets due to the clubs sensible idea to move stands is frankly embarrassing. Get a grip and move with the times. Would these fans have refused to renew their ticket if we'd have built a new stadium?

Did a child write this?

I rarely post on here, but some fans need to get a grip. Yes we've had some poor results but we're heading into the final 1/3 of the season with a decent chance of getting into the playoffs, admittidely I think we'll fall short but to finish around the top 10 after a number of seasons battling relegation, alongside the hopeful completion of the new stand represents a positive season for the club.
Id like to see the core of the side kept together, alongside LJ. Although there will likely be a sale or two plus the usual comings and goings.

I'm not sure really with regards to terms, agreed he's been excellent since Shez came in. Also 34 now though so not sure how much longer he can keep up the energy levels he puts into games.
