Results in those programmes are up to 26/3 —any good?

From his interview it doesn’t sound like we’ll have too much to look forward to next season if MM stays.

No programmes  were issued for first and fourth items—the programme for 5/12/18 was used for the 11/12 match—I have never seen a programme for items 5,6,8,9,10,12 and 13–I have the programmes for 5/12 18 and items 7 and 11 but no spares I’m afraid.

Have just paid to watch the game on National League TV-what screen do I go to to actually watch the game —doesn’t seem very clear to me unless I’m having a bad day?

Boxing day 1962.  Southport at home. Groundsman just ran a roller over the snow, lots of grip for the players studs, so Latics just cracked on. Lines on the snow painted blue, and they played with a brown ball.

 

7-0 at half time, 11-0 at the end. Bert Lister scored 7. And it's still a club record. 

 

If memory serves, it was about minus 10 that day, but of course players weren't fragile pieces of ornaments then. So just ran out with legs smothered in wintergreen ( ask ya dad ) and played football. The good old days. How many on here attended that match ?

As far as I can ascertain in the 64 years that I have supported Latics they have never used a player in the first team whose surname began with a U—not many people know that……….
