  1. They wrote it as under 16 not concession, has to be purchased with adult/oap ticket though.

so just to clarify then,my son is 15 in june and his ticket will be £50.....but can he only get it for that price if its bought with an adult ticket???? or can he just go along with paperwork and get it on his own????

i wont be getting one this season, just gone on 4 days a week and havent got that kind of spare cash...so looks like pay on the day pick and choose and do frost covers ....

  2. I'm sure Dickov said that Morais hadn't at the time (about a week ago) been offered a written contract because he was away on holiday. I think most players are off on their hols. quite soon after the season ends. Dickov has also said that he would be sitting down with Kuqi at the end of last week, but nothing seem to have come of it, which may mean Kuqi has decided not to stay. It's also been said that they are very near to an agreement with Simpson. I guess that once the offers have been made the players agents test the water elsewhere and then begin to negotiate with the club

maybe so but you shouldnt come out with a hard line approach like he has then sit on ya hands and hope they sign.....otherwise everytime he tears strips off players after defeats there not gonna listen or give him any kind of respect, saying one thing and doing the opposite.....

once the deadline had passed there should of been an update to say wether players were in negotiations or not......people wont buy season tickets if we dont sign anybody....

  3. gutted that we lose all our best players without receiving any cash for them.. quality player who was always bound a championship club

    good luck Keiran

clubs own fault for not offering him a deal 12 months ago....cant complain about not gettin fees if we cant be bothered to tie our best players down....

cant see him playing every game like he more or less has here last few seasons...

  4. fair play if he has gone....same with taylor as well.....

lee has been here for 3 seasons is it??? and we have shown very little in getting promoted,so cant knock someone for wanting to play at a higher level...dont think wages would of been a big consideration, because he liked playing here.....he left united and must have been gutted, shez said he was unfit lazy and a bad trainer....so we have been his stepping stone....just hope we get decent replacement in....somehow i dont see it.

  5. think it said last week he will have the players in today to explain the situation, those players leaving will be told, those who we want to keep will be offered deals, and given a 2 week deadline to say yes or no.......

i think lee taylor n wesolsowski will stay, tonks will sign simpson marshbrown will leave....reece brown will sign 12 month loan.

  6. I was going to write a long article on TTA failures etc… but let;'s be honest we've been round that way before. So what do we do? I'm not happy to sit back and allow the club to continue as the joke it currently is. The onfield stuff is immaterial, it's time serious questions were asked just where Corney sees this club heading.

The Trust as we know is a lame duck that will not get into the issues or ask the questions we want answering so what do we do? Sit on our hands and say there's nothing we can do? Walk away? Or try to force the club to be sold to ownership that can move the club forward. There's interest, I know there has been last summer but the asking price was ridiculous!

So what do we do? Because the way I see it there's no stomach for a fight left amongst our fanbase. We need galvanising into action, it's probably already too late and I fear the fanbase will simply sit back and do what they did when the town allowed ORLFC to die. If there's no desire to see the club move forward, what's the point?

I sat there yesterday and in the second half barely said a word, After watching the club for 26 seasons, I just feel resigned to our fate and feel so :censored:ing helpless. If there's no desire to help the club move on from the disaster that has been TTA ownership, then I really do think this might be my last season - certainly for home games anyway.

i think its fair to say the fans can do nothing more than turn up and support the team and manager.....and hope we get either some success or investment....the remaining amigo wants out....but why should he go on the cheap,he wants his cash back, and quite right as well..

you have had a downer on the club and board for a few years now,if its that bad for you id walk away for a while.....imstead of moaning and critisising.

  7. So you're saying get rid? Dickov's doing the best he can, in my opinion...

This season has, however, killed the last hope I had that we can get promoted out of this division with a small, honest squad and a decent manager.

Unfortunately the only way we're going to do it is by getting a fook load of cash from somewhere and buying a massive squad of mercenaries.

i dont think he is saying get rid...he is quite rightly pointing out that a season on from last, dickov is still making the same mistakes as last season.....we cant score same as last season......we have made a few positive steps forward then fell firmly back again, like last season......we still dont have a plan b like last season.....

we can bemoan lack of funds and small budget on piss poor crowds.....but the mark of a good manager is doing the best with what you have, and after some of the games we have played recently he isnt doing that....

  8. 50% up on very poor is still poor.

The length of time since we had a viable number of home fans does not bode well for the Club's future.

oh come off it...your old enough n daft enough to know that this has always been the case at latics....if the game wasnt on tv last night then i would imagine that the attendance would have been more....but its far to easy to turn the telly on or go to the pub, stay warm dont spend as much money as going....there was no incentive other than hope....maybe if the club had said if we win we will give some kind of discount voucher for tickets then more would have come.....

  9. Keith Edwards equaliser 14 seconds after the kick off of the original playoffs was a gut wrenching experience.

Mark Robins FA Cup Semi final replay winner in 1990 was the worrt experience for me , I literally could not speak getting on the coach at Old Trafford.

As a a long time fan who is amongst the fortunate ones old enough to enjoy the golden years from 89 ,I didn't think losing would bother me too much . Wrong , very wrong , I still feel empty today.

As for the rest of this season , the opportunity to watch Robbie Simpson masterclasses is the highpoint for me , enjoy , I can't for the live of me imagine some bigger fish won't net him this summer.

know how you feel actually....still wound up over it today..felt really really sorry for my son,he was very upset last night by it all....but he doesnt know any different,we have seen the great cup runs the promotion.....i tried to tell him its better to lose tonight that trek all the way down to london and lose in the final....who was i trying to kid!!!

  10. I always thought Chesterfield would score first, but there were still 8 minutes (of misery) to go, long enough to take it to pens if not win outright, but if they'd played all night there would have been no high-gloss finish.

we couldnt score 1 goal in 88 mins...so how the hell did you feel we could get 2 goals in 8 mins?????

have you had a look at your wembley seating plan today as well!!!

  11. Really? Why sit in Norwich's stiffs rather than get another 20 league games under his belt?

because of the money aspect...were not going to wembley now, hence no extra income to come in so the club wont want to speculate to just finish mid table.....

he isnt in morwich's plans by all accounts, but we now cant afford to sign him....so i think he will go.

  12. The problem with this is that goalscorers are IN FACT very hard to find hence big sums you get for them plus how many would want to play for Oldham or could we afford, i agree we are missing one but as said so are 20 of the 24 clubs in our division so i think that the midfield need to chip in with a few more and we need to be more of a threat at set-peices

threat from set pieces will never happen until we learn how to put the ball into the danger zone properly and hitting our own players...i dont think we have had more than 2 decent crosses lately.

as for goal scorers...yup we need one and quick...other teams manage to find one but never seem to be able to do it...

  13. adeyemi ends today but reading his comments on the fishul site...

"We need to look forward as there is still a lot to play for in the League. If we can put a run together, I am sure we can push up the table where we should be if we play like we did against Chesterfield," he said."

Am i reading too much into this?

be amazed if he stays now really, nothing to play for now,so prolly go back to norfolk...unless of course dicky manages to do what he has done with simpson...

if im honest id rather we go for a striker, but cant see it now...

  14. Unfortunately I have a feeling he may go tomorrow. I can't see what is left for him here anymore.

Still rate the guy and thought he did OK tonight.

played on his natural side tonight the right wing...and as a winger did very little.....why after 20 mins him and moraise didnt swap i dont know...no decent crosses in tonight from anybody....bit harsh to single him out in that lot....kuqis done nowt for 11 games now but he doesnt get stick....

cant see anybody coming in for him after recent showings....

  15. do they not do crosses in training then??? dont they do attack v defence.....

kuqi needs resting,he hasnt done much lately and could do with a rest at his age....

smith is nowhere near ready for league football....

moraise is an impact player.....but a luxury we cant afford...

tarkowsky didnt deserve to be dropped in first place, head n shoulder above other defenders

cisak is far to slow to get the ball out, especially as we was a goal behind,no urgency...

they huffed and puffed and didnt know how to put it in the net....season will now play out, crowds will again fall.....we will lose players in the summer and be asked to go again on reduced budget and bargain buys....but we need a striker now otherwise this seasons gonna be a tight finish..
