  1. i also voted no to the 1st n yes to the second, i think it is a stupid idea moving closer to the big clubs in the greater manchester area that are already contributing factors to us having low crowds. Failsworth although techincally part of oldham council does not identify itsself with oldham. I wonder how many people in failsworth visit oldham town centre??? it is a club for the town of oldham and i feel this may result in a slight loss of identity. I can however see the tta's reasons for moving there as they basically have no other viable choice at this current moment!!! and i certaintly wont stop going and supporting the team i just dont think its a good idea!!!

  2. Moan moan bloody moan.

My seats dirty - the club should spend thousands on getting every single seat cleaned in between every game.

I dont want to move from my season ticket seat in the lookers - the club cant build a new ground

Now I've moved I dont want to move from my season ticket seat in the RRE - blocking the club on making more money from away fans.

When will people realise this football club is a business and doesnt fall to the whim of every moaning '40 years' fan?

'Moan moan bloody moan';,i think people who have supported the club for all these years are entitled to thier opinion and if thier seats are filthly after they have paid their own hard earned money why shouldnt they moan? I'm sure most lookers fans wouldnt mind moving to the rre so the club can build a new ground as believe it or not most people who turn up week in week out do have the clubs interest at heart even if they do moan about unacceptable service and would be happy to do so when the club is able to which it is blatantly not. Football is a business but a large percentage of its revenue comes from fans who have watched the ticks for over 20 years most of whom do encourage the players and very rarely moan unless they feel the cause deserves it.

  3. I met Pipi at the Ein. Frankfurt v Bayern game. Very big crowd as Bayern are the best team in the Bundesliga. I remember doing that huge 'Hey Eintracht Frankfurt' mexican wave kind of thing. Some lad put his arm around my shoulder (it's done by linking the shoulders) and shouted at me 'Viel spaß!' (I know my German ^_^) which means 'Have fun!' Very exciting stuff but you sense everyone around is out to kill you. Never mind inside the ground, outside the ground, DON'T GET IN THEIR PATH!

I'm hopefully going to catch a game in October this year and i'd also like to meet this bunch of Ein. Frankfurt/Latics lads.

    Yes we should .... MARK!

I was in Frankfurt a few weeks ago and unfortunatly eintract were away. Instead we went to see a team called SV Wehen-Wiesbaden nearby. They are in the german version of the championship. We paid less thana fiver to stand behind the goal in the 'singing section'. The atomosphere was electric with a guy sat on a tall chair at the front with a megaphone (with his bak to the game) directing songs and chants the whole game! it was a great day out and quite funny as one of the chants was 'amarillo'. Also they sang in german of course to the seated fans at the side of the pitch 'if you love wehen stand up'.

  4. Another example of 'fan friendly oldham athletic'. 10 mins before half time i left my seat in the upper section of the new start mortgages to go for a coffee. I went down the steps and through the door into the kiosk room. As i walked throught the door a 'steward' told me to turn around as i couldnt use this door and i had to walk uo the steps back accross the front of the stand down the steps and through the doors opposite me, even though i was actually stood in the room!! The steward acted as if i was about to trespass onto the pitch. We go to every game, most away they should be showing a bit of appreciatoin to the the fans that turned up tonight not treating us like petty criminals.

  5. just wondering what your views are to who shez will pick tonight to play up front wiv lee hughes??

i wouldnt put smalley up there he looked out of place on sat far more affective on the wing!!

will he play 4 3 3 wiv taylor huges and smalley

    i would play....

    crossley

    rubes

    stammy

    trotman

    lomax

    allott

    jp

    macca

    taylor

    hughes

    smalley

swap rubes back to right back and drop young eardley because he is very low on confidence i think at the mo!!!!!!!

All Wolfie seems to do is trot around not causing any trouble. He doesnt however get much of a chance but i dont think he's up to the job. Alessandra is highly rated (by Shez) and i think tonight would be the night to try him as he needs to try something new quickly!
