  1. It does affect Latics.

    The article says:

"The publisher’s liquidation documents show Arsenal as among Cre8 Publishing’s biggest unsecured creditors. Other football clubs owed monies are Celtic with £400,000,

Rangers at close to £500,000, West Ham United with

    £103,000 and Tottenham at £42,000.

Latics did this to a lot if companies 'mine included' when they went into admin. Swings and roundabouts guys...

Aberdeen and Oldham Athletic football clubs are owed smaller amounts, while The Welsh Rugby Union has £120,000 outstanding."

  2. Why are people defending dickov so much. Ok he's a decent bloke and had a good start but this run is the worst run I've ever known for no goals and no balls in the team. I hope he pulls at least 3 wins out if the hat before the end of the season. If he doesn't he categorically DOES NOT DESERVE a new contract.

  3. Ian Ormondroyd first time round

    Peter Litchfield

    Asa Hartford

Definitely reeves. He was awesome against us. The worst ever player for us.

  4. I emailed alan too, making my popint in a reasoned way. He replied giving the reasons for the decision, I responded, he replied again, I agreed to disagree. However, I cannot fault the way he dealt with my "complaint". He certainly didn't just copy a reply, and had read my point, giving his own points to counter mine.

As for Sky, you're deluded if you think they will spend more than 12.2 seconds on it.

Yea you're right. Alan was ok with me too. I don't think it's entirely his fault.

And with sky all I wanted was for them to be aware. If only 3000 turn up they ought to know.

Espn didn't know why city did the Poznan. I emailed in and got a reply and in the second half they said it and said thanks to those who emailed in.. Didn't take 12.2 seconds even

  6. Hardy reads all these post you know. But clearly take no notice. I emailed to complain and he just copied a reply from here. One of the few that was in favour of the move.

I've also emailed sky to tell them what's gone on and got a reply saying it will be passed on to the commentator and if there is a serious low crowd I hope he says the reason for why. Oldham till I die, or till Oldham dies!

  7. yes he was probably the most annoying :censored: on the train, I was suprised none of the women took offence sooner, but I think they were three sheets to the wind as theyd been drinking at every stop!, I was with my 12 year old son, and he was a bit scared by it all, he was glad to get off at Ashton.

Were you the bloke who was shouting at top of your voice 'that's my f**king son'? Didn't see any other kids on so I presume so. Dunno what happened there mate but calling some for shouting get it shagged to a woman who was laughing at it alland actually instigated it (classy Yorkshire lady) then swearing yourself is a but off ain't it?

Them lads were just having a laugh and I'm glad that bloke stepped in to stop em getting thrown off miles from home because they didn't look like they'd have the funds to have got home!

I bet that coppers fella was chuffed she 'had' to get involved with 8 drunkeds on valentines weekend out!

  8. ...I thought we were excellent today, played some great flowing football against a resolute ten man Rochdale defence !!

Our only real issues were the fact we wanted to walk the ball into the net and we gifted them two goals. We used the flanks well, played it through the middle and kept possesion for long periods.

I thought the referee let play go for both sides, there were numerous opportunities for him to blow up for fouls but he let it go and when he did blow, kept his cards in his pocket. Not sure that the red card was that bad but he obviously did, I'm sure the highlights will put the record straight!!

Thoroughly enjoyable derby game just a pity we didn't get the result we deserved

No controversy here. Just garbage. We were well beat today. Face it

  9. You're right...we should listen to Corneys two heads...

Head number 1 - We're losing fans to City hand over fist as they're right on our doorstep and only charge £5 more

Head number 2 - We must move away from the centre of Oldham to Failsworth, near Manchester to save the club

    Confused.com?

How is city only a fiver more than Latics? Cheapest ticket for Blackpool game was £44. Fact. I went

  10. I was going to unleash this topic on Saturday but the PC is broke so having to do it in work!!

For the Yeovil game, I sat in the Main Stand for the first time in a long time, the view wasnt too bad and I thought to myself, why did i stop sitting here?

Then, after about 5minutes of the match, I remembered why.

The number of nonsensical moaning toffs that sit in there. Obviously this isnt the majority, but for crying out loud, I cannot be the only person (this may have mentioned in the past) who has noticed this.

The amount of hipocritical crap that was spewing out of a number of mouths was laughable - moaning when we didnt get rid from the back, then moaning that we hoofed it and didnt pass it out from the back and one guy (a posh sounding southern bloke i think) who must think we're Barcelona or something, because if we didnt spot a particular pass and play it instantly (Xavi or Iniesta-esque), he'd ball out some crap like 'rubbish Stevens, or bloody hell Furman.

    Incredibly annoying.

    :ranting:

We had to move in there for the Leeds game and was treated like an away fans by the 'regulars' in there. One bloke said we don't want you lot in here! I said I'm a Latics season ticket holder what you mean us lot? Very odd. You know who you are!

    Rant over.
