Credit where credit is due, great effort!

I'm driving up to Oldham (Chadderton) on Friday evening. Not ideal timing (leaving St Albans at about 19:00) but if you can get to St Albans station for then (give or take a few mins) and willing to chip in a fiver or so for petrol then you'd be welcome aboard my Fiesta (from that you should gather it's not going to be clocking up the ton up the M1). Like I say, I'm heading to Chadderton so would be best if you're heading there also so I can drop you locally (within reason). Bad news (for those wanting return journey), I'll be heading back down Saturday week (not bad news if a week in Oldham is what you're after).

goodness, quite a day as a latics fan and they haven't even played. never in a million years did I actually see this happening. Sorry about Sheridan going and certainly in the manner of it all but can't help being excited about Big Joe being back.

I'm not aware of anyone around that area. Miss Banana is in MK I think, and we've got some in various subordinate branches in the Midlands. I may be wrong though.Dunno if you woul go through London for the Peterborough game, I dare say we might be meeting for a drink or two then?

Good stuff LL, will shoot to come through London for P'borough game for a couple of beers beforehand. I work in central London (Strand) so for any evening drinks I'd be always be game if available.
