Anyone got a picture of the Shaw Gawbies flag whether from the USA game or somewhere else?

Love it!

I currently have a ten foot flag on order from 'Barmyflags'. I have gone for a high quality flag so that it will last. It will make its debut the masters and will hopefully be taken to every game this season (plus as many England games as do not clash with Latics).

 

There are currently ten of us taking joint ownership for the flag. If anyone else wants to chip in because they want to make a gesture but cannot afford to buy their own flag, please PM me. We are looking for seventeen people to put a tenner each in. If we end up with more than that, that isn't a problem, we will simply give the excess money to charity.

 

The flag is a a George Cross with the Latics badge in the top left quadrant, Ernie Cooksey across the middle and 1980 2008 in the bottom two quadrants.

Why not charge a "donation" or a fixed fee of £1 (or more) for having a picture taken with the flag, to cover expenses / fund raising? Poeople would use their own cameras / mobile phones. Set up locations / times via this forum - before selected home matches, at a pub etc.... I know a blog owner who would post the best pictures

It will be interesting to see if Hudds get 16000+ turning up each game. I'm guessing some "fans" have thought to themselves that they only need go to 5 games to break even, so may just cherry pick games.

Or it is Leeds fans willing to pay £100 for one game

I SHOULD be managing various marketing campaigns on Google instead however i spend my days bored out of my mind in an office wasting away the hours on various forums until its 1730 and i can escape!!

To make things worse i sit next to an avid Man U fan and have to hear about how amazingly good they are all week, does any one else share my pain??!

 

I would post more often but its difficult in an open plan office there is bosses all over the place!!
