I once went to a Darlington night match against Boston in my Oldham Shirt in the middle of the Darlington fans ( my best mate is a Darlo Fan and Clyde Wynhard was playing for them!). I also had a prematch carvery . when asked was I a season ticket holder I said yes ( but I didn't tell her it was for Oldham ).

It was a good laugh, Clyde even let on to me!

why did the chav's at the top of the stand go on and on at him i gotta to say good on the lad for standing and taking that hope he comes back to BP he most not think where that bad if he been before.

I'm presuming it was the same lad I saw early in the season Guernica, I think Rocky vaguely knows him and posted about him. He's young, and not in any way a big lad, and possibly missing a few pence from a shilling. If it was him I don't think for a second he thought anything about causing offence. I'd go so far as to say that if I saw our unpleasant chavs having a go at him while he was trying to enjoy the game, having paid his way in with his family, I would have come down rather firmly on his side.

i think nice trip to kidderminster wouldn't be so bad to see the baby club dominate another one of the bigger teams but to knock out exter city is a achevement off its own and the rds they have had to just to get there i say COME ON CURZON ASHTON do more shockers

whoever saw the dale fan in chaddy must of seen how much abuse he took of the yoof fans . our club should be encouraging fans not driving them away who agree's?

I thought the same about Dale until one guy decided he wanted to kick off with me after the carling game.

Indeed. There was a couple of lads in the Grey Mare pre game that where sat on the next table to us, who I think one was definately a Liverpool fan (apparant given his comments during the game). Think the other supported Burnley. They never mentioned that they were going, until they were spotted in the 2nd half having made there way to the very front of block T. Both of them were joining in the singing and yelling obscenities when Taylor had a good appeal for a corner given as a goal kick.

 

Pretty sure given the opportunity, that they'll be doing that same routine again before the season's out.

Saw a kid in a Liverpool shirt celebrating Scunthorpes 2nd goal yesterday as well. As for the Dale fan I'm not fussed as us and Dale don't really hate each other, I think It's good to support teams in the lower league who are local.
