Don't think there was a player on the pitch tonight who's performance could be classed as "brilliant". We were quite poor across the park.

 

We looked nervous, and got bullied out of it.

 

We did however have at least three good chances to get back into, Hughes' header in the 2nd half in particular. Had that gone in, I think we may have salvaged something, despite performing poorly.

he was flagged for offside when he missed the header anyway, he is definatly not the same player that started the season for us, whether its down to the crap service he is getting in midfield or his head is already at another club i dont know.

Fleming- From where we was sat looks like he should of saved the free kick however some excellent saves in the second half

Goldbourne- Didnt do much special going forward saved us again though in 1st half

Gregan- My MOM only guy who looked composed

Hazzell- Shaky moments

Lomax- Decent game not doing what Eardley cant though

Allot- One of his poorer games I have seen-

Whits- Reminding me alot of Mcdonald, play good one game poor in the next didnt get stuck in and was just an observer

Taylor- Put your dummy back in Chris seemed to moan and everything and didnt pass to Hughes for that glorious chance

Smalley- When he learns to pass he will be great looked dangerous running forward but lacked final ball

Windass- Think fitness was a factor struggled from Sat I think did some neat touches

Hughes- No service whatsoever and I thought he was going to drop Taylor! bad times

 

Sheridan- poor poo decisions, why couldnt you see at half time the midfield was gash? You left it too late then only changed Windass because you had too?! Also then another super attacking decision ....... Liddell

 

 

 

The midfield was really bad today its time to give Eardley Lee or Stephens ago in the middle it needs shaking up!

We was beaten by a better side however I just think if we had a stronger midfield we would be alot better!

 

No need to panic yet however if we lose to Swindon... uh oh

Like your glass half full attitude ryan but my thoughts were we were gash only gregan can take credit, hughes is looking more and more like he doesnt want to be here and sheridan's team selection, tactics and choice of substitutions is chronic, drop davies and put eardley on the bench????? totally beyond me.....

Lomax isn't sole to blame

Remember he is a RB not a left back, its a team game and too many players are not performing !

he had a nightmare but so did the other 3 with him, no way he should be a scapegoat, if its apportioning blame shouldn't we look at the senior players gregan, hazell and hughes who were all dire today.

Yeah Taylor was the only one who showed up. Team average 2.5 out of 10 inclusing 1 for Smalley and zero for Lomax.

think you are a bit harsh on smalley there was only taylor and him prepared to run at the hereford defence and as for putting him on the left why play a player in is natural position when you can play him out of position shez

worse than any of them as the opposition was a million times better than the team we played today. As already said a shambles and the players and sheridan with his apalling substitutions should be ashamed. what a boring game so negative i keep keeping 2nd spot in mind but its gone now for definate

8 points behind( at worst..) and 25 games to go how do you figure that out, carlisle defended well and we struggled to break them down but there is no way we were negative.

Needed his first goal - i'm sure he'd like to thank the who've give him stick/abuse albeit him only playing 5 games or so. As for the sat behind me yesterday after 20 minutes "take him off Shez and @@@@ off back to Doncaster", you are class!

I was sat very near you then i spent most of the celebration when he scored trying to attract the clowns attention to give it to him, he spent the whole 1st half giving most of the team grief.

I didn't see Hazell get booked at Crewe - I assume it was when that guy put it past him on the edge of the box and blatantly ran into him knocking him over ???

If so thats 5 yellows and 1 game ban - anybody confirm what game because if Stam is out for a while we will struggle in that dept especially if its Hudders away.

i thought he got 5 yellows a few weeks ago and has already served his ban?

Eardley is over rated and his attitude stinks.

and the attitude of the fans who slate him isn't?? That knob in the rocky road end is a prize tool..

Generally I'm a bit of an advocate of "don't change a winning team" but today we were still quite shakey at the back and maybe the high score covers ours mistakes but I can guarantee if our defence gives Leicester that many chances our attacking play will be cancelled out. So Gregan comes in, gives us stability and commands the defence. Who do you drop?

 

I say move Byrne to right back and drop Lomax, nothing against the lad he didn't play bad today but the other three are better.

 

And I'll say this, if we have a solid defensive performance next week we'll take all three points. It's up to the defence.
