  1. I'm one of the 2500 then.

Just wanted to say I'm looking forward to tomorrow and visiting Boudary Park, and that you have the worst 90 minutes ever. Jokes.

Looking forward to the banter...If you see me tomorrow, I'm a small lad (bout 5.7) who always wear's shades and dark jeans and obviously my leicester shirt and hoodie...feel free to throw anything verbal at me.

Thanks for answering my questions in the other thread, and enjoy the rest of the season.

  2. I was talking to a committed Leicester supporter yesterday who knows some of the players and he said how very pleasantly surprised they are by the standard of football in League One. In fact he said if anything it's been better than the Championship in terms of teams who keep the ball down, playing a passing game and so on.

    Any comments nussul?

Well, I think that's exagerating slightly. There's definately a difference between playing West Brom and Wolves last year and League One teams this. I would personally say the standard isn't quite as good, but a bit better than I expected.

Our standard is very good though :P....Leicester players you should look out for this Saturday are Fryatt (top scorer - obviously) and Lloyd Dyer. Dyer came on a free and has been a total revelation. People always talk about Gradel on the other wing, but he's overated.

Our main weakness is our goalkeeping situation, none of the keepers at the club can catch for sh it.

  3. Hey all, Leicester fan here, but not to cause trouble blah blah, just to find out a few things and for pre-match banter.

Obviously it's a long time since we've played you lot, and especially as a young fan there's a few things I was wondering about visiting Boundary Park, as we are a week Saturday.

What's the steward/police presence and attitude like? And do they allow standing?

How far is it (walking distance) roughly from the nearest train station to the ground?

Are the loudest Oldham fans near the away fans or in the opposite end?

Do you know what the back row is in the away end e.g AA? BB?? Because I like to be at the back and stand...

Cheers in advance for any replies, and let's hope we're both still this high up come May... ^_^
