Better not play Taylor upfront again, Smith needs someone closer to him. Tails was barely in the game, kept drifting into midfield

I know I’m going over old ground here but why does the striker have to be small.
Are you saying if a striker was big and fast you would turn him away?
know what you mean, if they have the talent and speed then size shouldnt matter. but how many foobtallers can you think of that have genuine pace and are over 6 foot? at the top of the game even theres still midgets like walcott, lennon, defoe etc.
i can only think of henry who was tall AND fast, maybe ronaldo

their fans are known to be a load of numpties though arent they

OMFG, One good game - and a friendly at that. Every competitive game I've seen him in, he's been decidely average. He's obviously got some potential, but some peeps on here need a reality check. I can remember Lewis Alessandra getting a hatrick and taking all the plaudits after the Scunthorpe game the season before last - he's hardly been ripping up trees since. C'mon guys, sort it out.
totally agree, last season he did nothing when i saw him play, dont think he even had any shots! funny how he turns it on when the scouts are round

Make the Penney outers pay double to cover his severance package.
so you would have been happy to fork £300 for another season of dire and tactically useless football skirting relegation under penney again then?

A centre back, a centre back, my kingdom for a centre back!!
indeed!
guess o'grady will be back so thats another option upfront

sky sports news keep mentioning how leeds can go 9 points clear at the top tonight, without mentioning they might actually have to turn up and beat us first...

oh...500 yards from the manchester border and even nearer to cittee...
crap road system to get there(its busy most of the day every day around that area).
no for me.
i agree, surely oldham athletic should more central to oldham rather than the very south west of the borough where 80% of the fans will have to travel two or three times the current distance to get too. we really could be called manchester north end like was muted years ago if we are on the border with manchester
and the road system there is far from excellent as some peaple have put, i travel to failsworth pool for work every week and theres always some roadworks around the end of broadway which are a pain in the backside

we all know that hes had tons of injuries but then again he was at newcastle who must have had one of the worst physio & training set ups in football since robson left. every season half their squad is injured, its no coincidence that one of shearers first decisions was to sack the physio when he came in
i think utd might be able to get him back to fitness and he would be a good squad player for them, and then hopefully england again

dean please give up. go out and enjoy yourself. have a beer. talk to a few people. whatever...

1- charlton- seems like they havnt lost a lot of their players- i think they have better chance than norwich
2- huddersfield- got some quality players in and likely to add more
3- leeds- just because they will alwyas finish in top 6
4- norwich- will battle it out
5- colchester or southend
6- saints- will make up ground
21- latics- will struggle with a league 2 team
22 exeter
23 brentford
24- yeovil
league 2 team? dont really see which squad of players you've been looking at. not convinced we'll be play-off contenders but mid table at least, will see which other players penney brings in

when do I get to win more money off you playing pro ev?

id be happy with a new home kit as im not a fan of the current one, this design on here's not bad but not sure about the yellow band going on. it would look like cardiff were on our pitch!
-
had some great games for us, especially early on but has gradually gone downhill. too arrogant with the ball and with his man marking, then lack of pace to compensate when he messed up.
thanks greegs but time to rebuild the team

Its the Mrs' bday so having to settle for sky.
Latics game followed by salsa....can't wait........
the salsa might be more fun if we win i suppose, especially since we'll have been out since 5:30 too
dont want too think of what itll be like if we lose...

currently 4th in the league and 4 points from the top, yes lets sack the manager! obviously its not good enough!
what good would sacking shez achieve this season? i doubt a new manager would get us promoted with players unknown to him and he would just sell half the squad and bring in his own players in the summer
-
i know someone whos a forest fan and he said when we signed him he was rubbish. i dont thinks hes good enough to get in our team and is a burden on our wage bill being injured all the time. best to let him go somewhere else permanently

ive been in the box for the pie & pint games 3 times i think, with 5 mates each time. we got there for the 12:45 ko, had 3/4 pints before latics at about £3.50 a pint, our free pint at half time, then a couple more after and watched the 5:15 ko after a couples of times. so thats around £42 from the 6 of us per game.
im sure if there were a main bar or other bar facilties around the ground then plenty of fans would go meet there and watch sky. other teams have so must be worth their while. rochale have a good bar on site
