I have been a Latics supporter through thick and thin since 1957 - and enjoyed the glory days along the way - However, I think that the Club is now on a downward spiral from which it will not recover. R.I.P. Oldham Athletic.

I've been a supporter for 50+ years and assumed that I would be all my life - but if this man is allowed to be involved with a takeover then I will be finished with the Club. Hopefully, SC will dismiss these rumours.

I seem to recall that Dowie walked away from Oldham when it suited him - Is that the level of commitment that we want from our new manager?

I really can't envisage any experienced league manager worth his salt wanting to take Oldham on - I think that we need to settle for an ambitious, successful, non-league manager and hope that he comes good.

I, too, would like to thank PD - The lack of success was not down to any lack of commitment or effort - A thoroughly straight guy and I hope he goes on to be a top manager.

Without Corney we might not have a club to write posts about.

Dickov needs our support - He's worked well with the youngsters and has few options with the limited resources available. As for Corney, we should thank our lucky stars for his ongoing support and commitment. I am hopeful that we will avoid relegation, but if the worst comes to the worst, we should develop the youngsters and build foir the future. Above all, we should stick with the Club through thick and thin.

Rumour has it that several clubs were interested in him a week ago - How strong is that interest going to be after tonight's hat-trick. I assume that we will soon get an offer that we can't refuse. (Good luck to the lad BUT it would be nice to keep him for a season).
