Excellent post, thank you. We left just before the whistle so missed that. I agree and worry that we may further alienate these young impressionable players and simply make the situation worse.

Is she interested in selling it Mark? Just couldn't quite make out what you meant by your daughter took it to the pawn shop but that you might be interested in it.
She’s a jeweller and pawnbroker in Oldham. A guy she describes as a regular ‘gold dealer’ brought it in today with other items to pawn. She’s going to ask him if it’s for sale for me. I wondered could it be some kind of testimonial medal, dated 11 years after the club began?? 1906 was the last year Winston Churchill sat in Oldham (then as a liberal) but why would there be a full stop between his initials??

Ok I realise i should probably put this in the Andy Gorton tap room but doesn't seem to get many views and I'm hoping for many eyes = many ideas. My Daughter took this gold watch fob dated 1906 in for pawn today. She sent me the pic knowing I would be interested, I am!! Does anyone have a clue what the association with the club might be?

twitterati saying Corney is taking the advertising boards
as he hasn't fucked us enough this last year
I thought he got these boards from Chinese investors that he was working to get on board sometime last year. At the time I assumed they were simply supplied as some sort of sponsorship deal and never ours?

Hardly surprising, what's to celebrate?

Superb win and a well represented Irish contingent in the team. Would like to see Ryan McLaughlin back to his best now. Icing on the cake #GAWA

It's all about the conecessions that are given to DUP.
One would imagine lots of investment, and enough money to pay off the debt from the Renewal Heat Incentive debacle, roughly 1/2 billion.
The key is the social aspect.
Rumour is that they are asking to be permitted to march at Dumcree again. If that concession is given then things could get very nasty indeed, although May would be mad to concede that if she wants to hold on.
It's the Orange Institution asking for that Singe, it wouldn't be high on a list of priorities by DUP.

This for me is being missed the most, their views on. well almost everything, is totally abhorrent. They will not influence the laws, though, as there is no way going backwards in gay and/or women rights would get through the House.
This move does, however, break the Good Friday Agreement, how can anyone think this is ok?
She did not need the DUP, the Irish parties usually sit out of Westminster proceedings, so their seats are null and void. This was done to stop calls for her resignation, but I'm sorry May is proving she is an even worse PM then I thought possible.
The only party which does not attend, debate and vote in Westminster are the Shinners because they refuse to swear an oath of allegiance.

Fan bloody tastic!!!!! We went on Friday after a bite to eat at the Smokeyard and enjoyed every minute. Highlight for me at halftime, walking into the toilet parked myself at the urinal and whose next to me, only big Joe himself Chat with the man saying he couldn't believe it was all 25+ years ago, made my night.

Fcuk me if he thought the weather was :censored: in Belfast he is going to be mighty depressed with our :censored:e climate!

A big fat Belfast welcome to the foothills of the Pennines Steve. Oldham welcomes you

I struggled to eat my evening meal tonight, feeling sick to the pit of my stomach. Not because of Ched Evans but many of the posters on this forum. I'll say just this, I hope you never need or want a second chance in life, from a loved one, an employer or the judiciary, because if you do I sincerely hope you don't get it.

Any chance paying out on 5th, Rocky creek?

Why would any club pay anything for him, when he can leave City on a free in the summer. Clubs would then be fighting over offering Richards the best personal terms and bypassing City's £8-10 million fee??

Goooooooooal, Smith

It was someone in a chicken hat, I was couple of rows back in block 27 and I was annoyed. I thought a silence more appropriate as Wayne had died young, way before his time and that is sad. Applause for someone who has lived a more natural three score and ten, or more, then yes applause as a celebration of their life, just my opinion. Of course as the applause spread I joined in.

Brilliant away day, Latics fans superb, no racist chants that I could hear. I nearly wet myself when Petrasso did that turn in front of the box, pity we didn't score but the lads can hold their heads high.

Well done Mike, I enjoyed the commentary, although it seemed a bit subdued to begin with. I am, however, unhappy at the negative vibe towards Gordon and Roy. They do a great job and the commentary, although sometimes biased is both lively and passionate, just the way it should be. They are after all Latics fanatics like the rest of us.

Good, that scouse pie was the most disgusting excuse for food i ever had the misfortune to encounter

Come off the anti clockwise M60 at junction 14 then follow the East Lancs all the way there. No fuss, just one long road. Then park at Walton Sports Centre. Simples.
Wunderbar, thank you my friend

Yes there are definitely and you will find them at away games, mostly closer derby games and the like. They seem to care more about antagonising opposing fans than watching the football. And it wasn't just booing which given the performance is warranted. It was viscous with an air of real menace.
