How about "The Penney Arcade"
-
I have mentioned this before that 4,500 tickets refunded at £70 each would cost the club £300,000 - where oh where would we get that sort of money from? Someone thought that would come from the extra revenue raised by the extra tickets. Rubbish!! To raise that kind of money 1,000 people would be watching for nothing - I can't see it somehow.
Has anyone at the club thought of building an open air stand on the broadway side (Blackpool) for away supporters. Look at the extra money it will raise - that will probably pay for itself within a few matches.

I keep seeing posts about Mr Penney not signing any players but it is the end of the football season for most of the players in the divisions we can afford to buy from and most of them will be away on holiday. Suggest we trust in our manager's judgement and wait and see.

From the extra season ticket sales?
To raise £300,000 from wxtra ticket sales at an average of £300 per ticket would mean 1,000 people would be getting in for nothing. Can't see it somehow.

Who are they trying to kid?
If they pay £70 to 4,500 season ticket holders it would cost £300,000 - where oh where are they going to get that kind of money?

Did anyone see in yesterday's programme that Gordy says "listen to Latics World for the Walsall game next week and there might be some exclusive announcement being made."
Any Ideas anyone?

A simple answer as to why no one is coming - cost.
For example 2 people (adults) - 2 matches last week. Tickets bought beforehand £72. 1 programme per match £6. 2 Strike it lucky tickets per match £4. Pie each and drink at each match - £15. TOTAL best part of £100. I know because this is what I do with a relative.
How many people can afford that?
Halve entrance fee for adults - £10 across the board. Reduce pensioners entrance age to 60. They get free bus travel at that age but pay full price for a match ticket.
If it doesn't work right away - surely it would be better than sitting there criticising the fans who can't afford prices in this financial climate.
