myth in itself is a very old term derived from the greek gods,so why should you only want to limit yourself to last season,is it perhaps that last season there were very little ex players who scored against us as opposed to seasons before that?????

Surely they'd jump off the top of your head if so many did though .... not a critcism just a point people make that winds me up, as its generally not true. The ex players that do score are generally strikers (which the chances of scoring are high anyway) and its not exactly all of them.

it may be an old myth,but strangely enough it comes true more often than not....people screaming on here for the club the bring back lee hughes....will he still get the same response when he scores against us???? or is that just another old myth that may not happen???

It doesn't come true more often than not. List the players that scored against us last season that used to play for us.

a lot of people are on holidays and or attending or watching the world cup,there is very little in the way of news as players are in training and there is no sign of new signings just yet....its the beginning of july and i wouldnt expect there to be significant upturn in decent posting until after the fans forum,then people will return with news etc etc...

 

most close seasons are like this,unless your a man city fan and can chew the fat over the umpteenth signing of the summer,then message boards are pretty quiet all round.

 

i couldnt really care less what bluepizza or roylearmy have to say,i draw my own conclusions from the main site and other media places,there far more accurate.

I dont get what you mean. Why would half the club know that the club have spoken to a player, and surely you must have known, so it wouldn't be hard for others to have known?

It does seem a shame that things get so personal at times.

 

It takes all sorts to make a world and we are all aware that there are enough problems around that stress people out.

 

I aint going to patronise anyone or show favour but I do believe that we should show some tolerance and understanding to various posters on the site who may not be as fortunate as others.

I like to say i am hurt by the action by the oldham board in many way and i follow oldham since i moved in oldham at the age off 12 and these are my points.

 

Why could the club not tell us the true as why Lee Hughes didnt sign a New Deal at Oldham i knowed he was total happy at oldham but it seems there was problems off the pitch that oldham could not control.

 

And secondly...When i email the club i never get a reply back

Four............ The board will never splash the Cash to bring a goalscorer in.
