  1. I would say 2 positives today

totally :censored:e first half - possibly the worst i have seen in 40 years of supporting latics

    BUT

    3 substitues at half time

very positive move from LJ and he did react to try and rectify

Kirk Millar - really impressed with the energy / tempo / workrate he injected

I am sure LJ has learned from today and I am sure we will be safe come the end of the season

    ( Maybe even by 5pm Saturday ! )

  2. Has to be Dowie.

Much as Scholes could bring something special to our midfield as a player / manager we need experience

and Dowie can shake up the players to be what we all know they are capable of.

Not sure if anybody can get the stats but an interesting one would be:

Goals conceded / scored in last 10 mins of a game this season

Goals conceded / scored in last 10 minutes under Dowie last time around

    KTF

  3. Not sure if this is fishing so my point was that all the very negative posts from people not at the game were an uninformed reaction to a bad scoreline. Your take on the commentary which is still second hand is at least based on opinions from people watching. Anyone can comment but to start suggesting that a whole revamp is required(not you bb80)from a scoreline is a basically a bit silly

wtf is wrong with some of you people ?

have you really already forgotten the :censored:e we watched last season?

went down yesterday and yes I was gutted that we threw away a 2 goal lead but still enjoyed the day.

So many positives from the start we have made.

Yes PD should have changed things early in the secong half but you have to remember he is still learning his trade.

he is still niave but if he was the finished article would he be our manager?

we blew it second half but these things happen.

Chins up and lets put things right on Saturday
