£350 in store or £700 in petrol for each adult ticket.
Less than a month's shopping for a typical family.
Or a week's fill-up in post-Brown/Darling Britain!
Your only problem is that they issue the vouchers quarterly and the next lot are due in November.
Thanks for that. Even with my expensive tastes it'd take me a bit longer than a week to rack up! I don't shop for a family so I'll leave it. Cheers for the tip anyway.

does anyone have a Tesco clubcard? do you know how much I would have to spend in order to have enough points to get either one or two adult tickets for Brentford vs Oldham?
thanks for your help

What about the youngster Jose Baxter, anyone heard whether there is any truth in that rumour?
a mate of mine goes to Goodison and rates this guy very highly. Said that he wishes he got more chances in the first team there. Got three winners in three games against Liverpool Reserves last season. Apparently very talented.

is Yeovil a bad away day? Have never been before and am thinking about going. Am more keen now that I can't make Southampton on 20th.
cheers

A friend of mine who goes to the New Den was quite surprised by this. Rates him, but said not all of the Millwall fans are keen on him as he can appear a bit lazy.

Decent day out. Good performance overall. You could tell that we were going to regret the missed chances – especially the one on ones. Heffernen was unlucky to hit both posts with his effort. Brooke’s was much less convincing. I thought Stephens and Whittaker both had very good games. However Stephens pulling out of a 50/50 moments before they got their late penalty really made me cringe. Should have been three points but couldn’t close it out.

Mr :censored: for me. Thought he was very busy.

lol thats probably the funniest thing you have ever done
I called Oldham shop yesterday and paid for my tickets over the phone. I asked to pick them up at the ticket office at Brighton rather than have them put in the post. Decent option for you, I suggest.
-
Buy the ticket from Brighton.
and just specify that I want that corner of the ground? is anyone else doing this?
-
Does anyone know if / how I can get a ticket for the corner part of the side stand where they have sometimes put part of the away support at the Withdean in the past? The view from the West Stand is hideous.
Cheers

agree on the pub recommendations in the previous two posts (am also a former Brighton resident). Lion and Lobster is a favourite of mine, although probably isn't quite central enough for the weekend visitors.
I tend to go in the Preston Park Hotel on Preston Road for a couple of looseners before this fixture. Is decent enough, normally fairly quiet despite being very close to the stadium and the station.
has everyone bought tickets yet? any idea on when is the latest is that I'll be able to buy? I assume that they're posted from BP??
thanks

I thought Byfield was absolutely superb on Saturday. His touch and hold up play were fantastic. He won a lot in the air as well. Unfortunately he never got a decent chance. My vote for MOM.
-
Cheers Mark - got your message. Will call you if I get on that train, or am in Colchester looking for somewhere to have a pint.

hello there
i am going to be travelling from london for this one. will aim for the 12 train and keep an eye out for some latics fans on there. i may have met one or two of you in an irish pub after the brentford game about 18 months ago...
looking forward to it!

let me know when they're in the shop so I can have a look.
thanks chaps!

Saw Yeovil at Southend on Saturday and they were poor. Warne got about an hour, and was (as always) lively. Shame if Forbes is suspended - he is as bad a full back as I've seen at this level - shocking game! Their two centre backs were useful, but I think Hughes will give them the run around. Three points.
-
great game down there last season. including one of the most bizarre penalties i've ever seen given - their defender handballed five seconds into the second half with no Latics player within 20 yards of him. madness!
-
how old is he?
bbc website says 26

don't cancel your train! as mentioned above, you should be able to buy a ticket over the phone from BP as late as Friday to be brought down on the supporters coach. You can pick it up at the Withdean ticket office on Saturday afternoon.
I'm going in one of the home stands as the view from the away is appalling.
