Pearce is literally the last person we want getting the England job. We should be trying to take English football forward, not backwards.

 

One of the reasons we produce so few players with technical ability in this country is because we prize things like PASSION, COMMITMENT and GETTING STUCK IN over anything else. Look at the fawning over Scott Parker because he runs about a bit for example.

even if Carlisle only need 1 point to garantee play-offs, i dont think they would even fill the large section which enables Latics fans to have the smaller rather than being back in the chaddy or main stand paddock. I think SC is right in his 2,000 mark but personally would like to see a few hundred more, PLUS I would like too see the 6,000 that went to Anfield for 1) its the last game for a few players 2) a sneeky peek at the new kit and 3) if they can afford to travel and pay to get in at Liverpool they can afford £23 to get in at thier 'so-called' beloved Latics

would be an ideal swap, but would the 'coming to Latics' curse strike on this player too? lots of decent players being named above, but i doubt we could even tempt such players (hope i am wrong though)... id like to see a few perm signings n not loans, although the likes of Lowe and Adeyemi, are great players.. there not ours!

No i didnt, but theres a difference between under 21s and full international plus i dont think the FA could find anyone more passionate than Pearce

Noticed Smalling last night made a similar error to one of Tarkys at Sheffield Wednesday by losing his man, put it down to inexperience.

Never rated Smalling, if he can play for the red scum... so can Warren Feeney lol
