  1. Let's see:

    - we don't want unproven kids from Premier youth teams

    - we don't want past-it journeymen with nothing left

    - we don't want young players with 100 games under the belt

Who exactly do we want? Only players in their mid-20s with 50+ games in League One or higher who are happy to play for peanuts in front of the 23rd placed club with the 19th lowest attendance in the division?

Phrase about beggars and choosers comes to mind...

To be honest I'm more dissappointed about the fact is another one month loan. At the end of the day the lad has racked up more than 100 appearances already, and was a regular in their side last year so I'm willing to give him a chance.

Can we actually sign a player though? Like, a player who will be ours and want to play for us? Can't see who's going to come....

  2. I've said this on here before, but as a 24 year old supporter I just don't see the point in going. I've seen absolutely sod all success whilst I've been supporting this club which I love to my bare bones (for some insane reason)

I'm not interested in climbing the leagues or setting the cups on fire, I just want to see 11 players who will put their all in for the shirt. The only one I see doing that is Liam Kelly but there's only so much sideways passing can do. The greatest professional I've ever seen play for this club was Paul Warne. :censored: me that bloke ran his goddamn socks off every second of every game. Why? Because he :censored:ing cared.

This current group of players aren't even fit to pull on our shirt if that sorry display yesterday was all they could muster against, let's be fair, a terrible crewe side.

My point being is this: I know of 4 people personally that have :censored:ed latics off and started supporting city, and whilst I find this abhorrent and treacherous, can you really blame them? This club Is in my blood and I wouldn't even consider switching my allegiances, but I'm so disinterested in the club after this shambolic season that I just don't give a :censored: anymore. That was my last game for a long time I think. I work 45 hours a week in a Wetherspoons for minimum wage, £20 is a chunk of my wage for me when all my bill come out.

This club is dying a death and in my opinion, things will only start getting better with a new board/set of owners. How that's going to happen I don't know, and I just don't care.

Finding it very difficult to keep the faith

  3. I'm 24 so all I've ever seen is :censored:. At least some of the older fans got to see a bit of the glory years. My old faves are David Eyre, John Sheridan, Michael Clegg, Clint Hill and Fitz Hall. They were the players I watched as a younger kid.

I've never seen your Holdens, Ritchie and Barretts play. I think to say I still go nearly every Saturday (not with a season ticket aswell mind) is a goddamn miracle Mr Dunn. The closest I've come to seing success is getting beat by QPR in the play off semi finals, in a year which is still say now thay if Clint Hill wouldn't have broken his leg we'd have gone up automatically that year

  4. Wish people would stop suggesting 3 at the back is the answer.

We're already :censored:e and unorganized with 2 centre backs.

Only Mills could play the wing back role well (don't say Croft just because he's better at tracking back than going forward - that doesn't mean you're a good defender).

Even worse, by then suggesting Fulton & Winiesta as your wide midfielders infront of the back 3, you're committing suicide really.

....but we've been :censored: with 2 centre backs.

  5. To be honest I do fear relegation if what we had on offer today is literally ALL we can offer. The most hurtful thing about the match is that scunthorpe clearly wanted it more. More determination and fight. That's not what we should be getting for our buck. Especially at home for Christ's sake.

Even after we went 2-1 up I knew we'd have to score again to win.

  6. 1st game I've been to all season because I've work commitments. What an absolute shower of :censored: that was. Philliskirk, poleon, higdon, Jones, croft all terrible. And how Connor brown carries on stealing a living as a footballer is beyond me. Kelvin Lomax was better an he was terrible.

Can't see myself paying another 20 quid to watch that again any time soon. No fight, no determination, no passion.
