  1. Yesterday was my first match in a looooooooooong time despite being a season ticket holder and from my seat in the main stand I thought the atmosphere in the Rochdale Road End was fantastic, really energetic. Only heard the Chaddy once (Zigga Zagga), the drum certainly adds to the atmosphere although the County fans were using it as a song starter just as much as us yesterday.

Each to their own but when it comes to an atmosphere there's only one winner. BP is a far better place with home fans in the Rocky.

OAFC (in the boring main stand!) B)

  2. For me inciting the crowd should be a straight red card. Vert unproffesional. Football fans will always give the players stick. Its part and parcel.
What would you like, a polite handshake? Grow some balls, so what if an opposition player winds you up......like you said it's part and parcel of football. It'll be a sad day when players get booked for celebrating a goal, oh wait..........
  3. I find this odd, I sit in the Main Stand and could hear the RRE pretty much all through the game; I even heard The Chaddy a couple of times near the end.

Yep same here, I sit bang on the half way line (upper) and can hear both sets of fans. Obviously the Rochdale Road End is a lot louder because that's where most of our singers are now but for me the atmosphere when the fans get going is far better than it was last season. I'm sure the players have noticed it too.

  4. Surprised that ST holders didn't snap up more than the 900 claimed on here. I thought we'd have sold the allocation easily and ended up with some in the home ends, but I can't see it now.

Wasn't it only 1 ticket per season ticket though?

I held off because of this and bought 4 tickets for me and my mates all together (plus I originally thought the seats were reserved).

  5. if he had been here for 2 years would it of made any difference then???

if you work for a company and get offered a better job,but you been in your old job for a few years, would you still risk it then,or would you hedge your bets, think it over before deciding.

i would of hoped he would of repaid us a little and stuck with us till the end of the season, then if we dont go up he has a perfect excuse, and nobody would begrudge him then, its just the way it has happened and who he has gone too that riles people, lets hope they stay down, you will find out how loyal he is then.

It's not the same, football is a short career. I'm sorry but anyone who can't see the difference in potential between Oldham and Leeds needs their head examining. He has no need to repay us, I'm grateful he chose to come back a second time. Kilkenny is a lot lot better than this division and he has far bigger chance of making it at a higher level with Leeds than with a team that has been stuck in the same division for how many years now? It is a kick in the balls that he went to Leeds of all teams but to begrudge someone who's looking after his career is just being bitter IMO.
