When Fondop was booked in the first minute I turned to my brother and said he will be sent off today.The fact the ref booked him in the first minute should have sent alarm bells ringing in the coaching staff.Now has Unsworth pointed out to the team that the new directive will be adhered to,and they will have to be very careful,and has he commissioned a report on the behaviour of the referee’s that are likely to officiate in this league,because he should,small things add up.

The ultimate arbiter on discipline is the manager,he is the one who sets the rules with his players.Disipline is going to play a big part this season,Hogan can’t be far from a ban after 6 games,sorry but that belongs to the manager,and needs sorting immediately.

Regardless Fondop got himself sent off, brainless behaviour on his part sliding in from the side in the middle of the park, it was almost as if he did it on purpose. He can't be the brightest.

If you watched the pre season friendliest you would have seen Hudson make some brilliant saves,was very vocal with his defence and his distribution was excellent.But what do I know I just talk shite.Norman on that display is about ten leagues above his level.Seems never to be ready for a shot from outside the box.

Maybe we have managed to unload Nuttall,does anybody know if he and Norwood have the same agent?

Between them Unsworth and Nuttall will undermine this season.The remedy is for Unsworth to swallow his pride and move Nuttall on.The whole team will have a different dynamic without him in the lineup.The miss when the goalkeeper was grounded today,my 8 year old granddaughter would have scored that.Of course there are some who would say it wasn’t a chance,hans Christian Anderson story comes to mind!!!

Plus, I guarantee Nuttall will be in the starting lineup come the first match. I'm not a massive Nuttall fan either. I thought he did an adequate job with virtually none existent service. He'll get better the more the ball is put to him in the right areas and he has the kind of dark art shithousery about his game that I fucking love.
