Folks,

If anyone fancies something different you really could do much worse than trying an evening at the Speedway. Its £17 to stand on the South Terrace, kids under 12 are FREE and £7 for ages 12-18. Its more expensive in the grandstand with better facilities but I like many others prefer the South Terrace.

They moved this year from the old Greyhound Stadium just down the road to a brand new purpose built facility with fast exciting racing and the team are flying high at the top of the league.

The next meeting is on Friday night vs Coventry Bees (7:30)

First game in a while at Barnsley, was waiting for a rendition of "I am the Shezzurection" but it never came.

Main's performance last night was the best display I've seen from an Oldham forward in a long long time.

Just read the thread on Lewis Alessandra and there's reference to Carlos Roca who I'd totally forgot about but recall a buzz when he came on the few times I can remember, then thought about Andy Gorton (Everton away comes to mind) and to a lesser degree Billy Kenny. Are there many more and were the aforementioned that good?
