Could Shez be The Fall Guy in more than one sence?
-
Good idea but wouldn't give any money with thoses bandits lurking around!!!
-
I had forgot what this feeling is like. Massive 6 pointer. Well done, just having a whisky to calm the nerves.
-
Under Johnson we didn't know what to do when we got passed the half way line, now we don't know what to do when we get midway into the opposition half - this to me is progress!
-
Indeed the Scunthorpe players showed no class in their celebrations I would call it crowd incitement, they had just scored against Oldham not Barcalona! Thick brained knob heads!!!
-
What pissed me off more than anything was the stupid celebrations by the Scunthorpe players in front of the rocky road end and the red letting it happen.
-
Totally agree.
-
What I noticed too was their 4th goal...Their lad looked up...Saw nothing...but must have thought ":censored: it" and had a go...Took it past 3 and scored.
You put one of our players in that position...we turn backwards and pass the ball back 20 yards

I expect a response from the team

After the last few weeks never thought I could feel happy again! Weekend not ruined this week! Well done lads!

Looks like a positive after months of negatives?
-
Now that the Man Utd fans have started crawling from under the rocks I wonder if they have a spare one I can hide under till this debacle is over?
-
What do you expect when the board try and pass off making Holden the manager as some sort of masterstroke?
The fans have voted with their feet and I hope they continue to do so to show the board how they've :censored:ed up our season.
I wouldn't allow any of them to run my bath let alone run a football club.
Corney has given up. The new stand is being built; it's an asset that will only appreciate in value until they sell that and the ground to recoup as much as their expenditure as possible. The club on the other hand is a millstone; one that he wants rid of and one that he's not prepared to put any more money into. The final nail was letting that buffoon back onto the board - if the answer is Barry Owen then I :censored:ing dread the question!
Agree 100%. A few soundbites on BBC Manchester by Simon Corney aint good enough.
-
Utter utter clueless, I'm not surprised anymore just sat here numb resigned to another loss. Players ran off at half time with great enthusiasm more than throughout the first half. At well here's to a 2nd half drubbing?
-
The board held up the White flag the day Johnson left.
-
I directly messaged Corney, a message which he heard before Port Vale away, telling him we need a manager immediately.
Nothing has happened. Why bother now? As Dec says, we're more likely to go down than up but neither are probable.
Even when Johnson left we had a chance to pick ourselves up with a new appointment and have a resurgence. Instead we've sat on our hands, 'not rushed' and let this negativity continue. We're now a mile from the play offs and going to finish bottom half. The reason people want a new manager is because they're looking over their shoulder. How things have changed.
-
Comical defending, nothing upfront and yet again a poor referee. Think we should be safe this season but very worried for next season as I see nothing positive going fwd. need to get new manager soon to start building for next season.
Hope Johnson and Wrtght enjoy their win today as Barnsley didn't look like promotion material. Greedy little Judas'

Good article. Dissapointed in LJ in the manor of his departure, he as lost credit in my eyes.
-
No wonder the teams form has been so poor lately , his mind has been elsewhere feel a bit let down by him

From Barnsley website
"
A small number of candidates were interviewed and Lee Johnson was selected as significantly the best of these. He met the selection criteria established and also produced a specific plan for Barnsley Football Club for his first 100 days in charge. This included a playing strategy, specific tactics, identified current weaknesses and credible recruitment targets to strengthen our team."
So Johnson really put a lot of effort into getting the job...not dragged to the altar was he!
-
As I said what if we got an injury or two especially having played a hard game mid week because the 3 subs at once really worked a treat!
-
Very poor by players and management! 3 subs at once with half an hour to go!!! What if we had a couple of injuries? Don't waste your time on social media saying how gutted you are, spend the time practicing playing football instead.
-
Yet another PR disaster!

I'm off to buy some boots (not from Sports Direct) I will definitely get a game next season at this rate!
