No doubt it was a terrible tackle.After calling him every name under the sun,I have since calmed down.He has been out of side and probably wanted to make an impression and has been too over eager.He was probably gutted on the walk back to dressing room.Stupid,rash but let's not throw the book at him just yet.He needs to help himself now.

Even when we have won games we haven't looked great.We are playing Trying to "nick a goal" no matter what the circumstances.This would have been a good result/performance away from home.Sometimes it pays off ,as we saw against Scunthorpe (got 2 on that occasion, granted) but we have to adjust at home against Wimbledon for crying out loud.

Is anyone going without a ticket today do you know if can purchase from their ticket office. Been working in London all week only just found out its all ticket which I can't beleive

Any one know if you could just go down and see if there is room on one of the coaches this morning or do you have to pre book?

I have changed my mind on this.Whilst at the game with my nephew we had a discussion about the " how :censored: must you be,were winning away chant".I had a bit of a problem with it at the time.On reflection, (although I would never join in with it),I feel its just fans trying to make light out of a dull situation.The football was crap 1st half.Dunn has done himself no favours here but at the same time we don't need to throw the book at him for it.

I'm as happy as anyone that we finally look like we've got a team that could challenge for promotion, but surely as Latics fans we should know better than getting ahead of ourselves. It's not going to stop me optimistically booking next year's holiday for after the play-off final, but it might be too far praising Corney for hiring the next Alex Ferguson (which is in no way criticism of SC/LJ/OAFC).

 

I don't know, I'm just going to enjoy the current good form, optimism, and feel-good factor because there's not many times I've seen the club like this.

I know what your saying oafc latics.I go to the games with my 2 nephews.One of them thinks we can acheive automatic promotion! After a couple of weeks trying to bring him back down to earth,I have let him have his time of enjoying this moment.why not?He would be disappointed either way if we cannot keep in and around the play offs.Lets just all enjoy the now and see where it takes us.COME ON BLUES.

The arguement started about 20 mins previous to the fight.I was evesdropping on the conversation.He had told the guy to stop swearing as kids where in the section.???Next thing he was flying over the seats.Its a tricky one.I try to hold swearing in if kids are right next to me but sometimes you cant.Agree with the postman.You will never stop people swearing.Dont try.The kids did not belong to the guy who was making a fuss about the swearing.

but its :censored: to watch anyone can take a point at home against :censored: teams by parking the bus and I know its needs must but people aint gonna buy season tickets after watchin that dross, didnt look like scoring and one up front at home, thats two 0-0 at home in a month it aint good.

Honest mistake from some young fans who are uneducated on it, so lets not blow something like that out of proportion. I didn't sing it at the time myself because I find it a cringey chant but even I didn't realise the connotations until after the game.

 

No malice intended obviously and if it did offend any of their fans then sorry but focus on what was a great win.
