If we'd signed Theo Robinson and Jamie McCombe in the summer, I'd have been happy. Lincoln are obviously a decent side on a good run and their players were up for it. Indeed, a 7,000 crowd on a Monday night suggests the whole town was up for it.
OAFC are free to sign Theo Robinson as he is playing on a none contract basis for the Imps. McCoombe, is at least third choice centre back, behind Sean Ragett (suspended) and Luke Waterfall (played), Callum Howe (cup-tied) and perhaps 4th as Lee Beevors (injured) can play in the CB position.
Never mind the pies, it was the massive hot-dogs served from the stall near the Up Steps, before the stupid fountain was built.

Why do our managers constantly demean the club?
They talk about reducing negativity yet all they seem to concentrate on is our negative aspects.
Because for this season its actually true.
-
They'll fancy this, at home big gate, nothing to lose but will they freeze in front of the cameras?
This match will be third live televised match of the season for the Imps and fourth is lined up for Jan. Hopefully, those that are travelling will have a safe journey and come back with good memories of your trip to Sincil Bank, however the result goes.

Lincoln City Football Club and the FA Cup are words rarely heard together in the same sentance - the Imps and the FA Cup are hardly synomous.
I'm just looking forward to a good match and taking the spondulaks. One never knows, this current crop of Imps under Danny Cowley have a different mind set after all football is a simple game: 11 v 11 over 90mins.

Sincil Bank has one the best if not the best playing surfaces in non-league, and is probably the envy of many a lower league club too. It's normally the South Park End which sees little sunlight at this time of year which can be problematic. However, the club have league standard covers and a lighting rig. I would say if tonights match v Wrexham is on next Monday's should be too.

The Imps are a slow ponderous side.

There is a huge misconception, that the Imps are a slow team because of 'big' Rheady. Far from it, as an life long Imps this current side have frightening pace in: Arnold, Hawkridge, Anderson, Robinson and Marriott. I have never seen anything like as an Imps supporter of 50 years, following the club.
5th of Dec. could be a classic.

I love the description of said striker:
"The 16st 10lb behemoth ..."
A big striker indeed, but one with a great touch. Watch how he setS up Luke Waterfall for the Imps equaliser at PGR

Just beat runaway leaders away from 2-0 down...
Away from Home.

Go to the arse end of nowhere
Go some way further. Hey Presto! Scunthorpe.
No, thats Grimsby.

As a life long Imps supporter, who spend the thick end of 10 years working in the centre of Oldham. I couldn't have been more delighted with this FA Cup draw given I still work with a couple of Latic followers. I saw both encounters in the 98/99 season and still have vivid memories of freezing one gonads off in the Chaddy End. I also have a vague memory of watching the Imps play Oldham at Sincil Bank in the very early '70s too.
I'm glad BT Sport have dipped and are showing the match live as I suspect irrespective of it being a televised match with the Christmas market it was always destined to be a Monday night fixture as save one occasion early in the life of the Christmas market the Imps alway play away that particular weekend.

For some reason players appear to want to sign and play for the Cowleys - despite them making train twice a day.
