My rateing on him is through the time I have seen him play in cm and on the wing, he is far more effective on the wing nd gash in the centre..... Upto now

I personally don't think he can tackle he is too much of a wimp and thats why he is pushed out to the wing,

Looking forward to going Brizzle on saturday, hopefully at 3 nil up we can start singing "Dave Penney's a football genius" That would be a perfect day

Looks like some players rested for the Bury game on Saturday,1st half team was much better than 2nd half, and to be fair was quite impressed with the Halifax team to say they are 5 divisions below us.

Just received a phone call this morning regarding Ernie, a player that for me is a Latics legend.

 

Ive been told that he has cancer. He had been battling it for some time and thought he'd beaten it but new tests have meant more chemo is needed.

 

He's making it public knowledge now and I'm told Grays Athletic have or will report on it today.

 

Just would like to end by saying I, as many will have, have met Ernie several times and hes the nicest guy you could ever hope to meet.

I agree with most ,Lewis was that impressive Tuesday he must be given a spell in the team to get even better which would be frighteningly good. The Skies the limit.

Personally, I'm conflicted... but what do you think?

Personally I would like to play this years play off final at Cardiff as I don't think I will get another chance to do it, also don't think play off final for our division would fill wembley.

But then I would like to do Wembley next year in The Championship Play off final. :thumb08:

From the start of 79/80 season, all taken on the same day obviously, in fact one is the same picture cropped to make 2 different images. On the second one they try to disguise it by saying its from a reserve game on a different date, d'oh!

Always sat in Chaddy End ,until Dowie season when me and my son moved to Main Stand Lower(Chaddy end side),so my son could get autographs of his heroes,also much better view,never liked the Chaddy when it went all seated.
