was speaking to a town fan last night in the pub, he uttered those two words that seem to scupper most oldham signings
Confidence player, well thats gonna work with our fans aint it!
-
I didn't pick the colours, people suggested them and i created mockups.
I did realise this morning, without a drunken head on on that that is indeed a burnley kit though.
for what its worth i like the blue and white one!
-
cracking, but wouldnt work. what happens when we play leeds? or any other team which plays in white? we would need a third strip, and that would mean keepig the yellow
Unfortunatly, yes, as musch as i like the designs whenever we played brighton/southampton/huddersfield/leeds/tranmere we'd have to have an alternate kit (ie, the yellow one) those were only posted to help people visulize otheres ideas
Doubt it will be an issue in a couple of weeks!Theres also the simple fact that the home shirt isnt going to be changed, so it would not be a problem... plus we are keeping the yellow strip as a third kit, like we allegedly still had the tangerine this season....
I like the kits though... as you say if we were to have them, prob would need to be an exact negative, with the central white bit being blue on the home version...
That maybe one option, athough the amout of whie on the kit would still be quite high especially considering last time we played in thirds the back of the kit was plain white in order to suit the player names/numbers text!
over to you arnold on bigfins suggestion, or perhaps colour in burgandy & blue (instead of white) for the away strip.Like this?
How did you make those strips Arnold? Tell me Tell me!!!Basically just playing around with the original image BP1960 posted (one of my altime favorite kits BTW) in a free image editing program called paint.net, it's quite similar to photoshop but freeware with alot of the plugins developed by users of the software.
How about replacing the white with Tangerine on the home shirt?i quite like that, but definatly not as a home shirt, i think it could work as a primary/alternate away kit though!

What is andys arrow all about, i just don't get it!
-
Liek you say reverse and identifiable.
This in Burgundy would be very good I tihnk and unique.
I'd buy that!
-
works fine for me.

loving this!

Although I did not know the chap at all, I used his site a lot. He has taken a turn for the worse and been given months to live. Might not make 2010.
Best wishes to him and his family.
Also his site will freeze at the end of the season.
very sad to hear,
-
if it wasn't for the tta we would not have a club to support so damm you
there may have been strong sarcasm in that post bob...
-
Blue and tangerine. end of thread!
-
all these floodlight puns are brightening up a dull day.
-
Would love Kelvin Etuhu, quality youngster worth spending a bit on I would think.
cracking on footy manager, so probably terrible in the flesh.
-
Why you got Westlake on loan anyway is beyond me. He was really bad at Leeds and he isn't a natural winger. If Cheltenham don't want him there is something wrong.
yes, their finances. now jog on...
-
I must agree, would anybody have him back next season though?
-
Sacking Sheridan hasn't rescued our play-off chances.
Should they have waited until the summer, got rid of Hughes, Gregan, Liddell and Crossley (for starters), let SHERIDAN choose 4 players to replace them around the twenty-seven to thirty age and then given him until Christmas.
Somebody texted GMR tonight and said "we need a young manger" - we had one... that didn't work, so we went for an old one and that hasn't worked. Sacking managers rarely solves a problem in situations like this.
(I can hear the criticism now).
They shouldn't have sacked Ronnie Moore, and they shouldn't have sacked Sheridan.
Hindsights a wonderful thing, i wouldn't have sacked him at the time, but can fully understand why TTA did so.
-
looks like we are 9th now.
SHEZ OUT.
-
well he gets his chance now, theres only him smalley and kabba left up front.
don't forget the wolf...
-
If this takes off you could make a mint!
That joke was far from mint...
