    I dont care who i upset! but give davies a chance he will come good and all that i cant see it myself, thats i forgoten how many games without scoring 10/11. how many chance do you want to give him?we should give him a break.we should have brought in new blood at the start of January and we would not be were we are now,we needed new players then we still need them now and none of this theres no money chit,cup money(Everton) wages and fees we had for Killkeny,and Bertrand wages .and money from next round if we had the players to get us there would have paid off.

    what elese will it take to get the club out of this league other than a bit of cash spent.and the people who had ago last post or 2 i put on here must like the position we are in and love this league!!!!!! :angry:

     

    good idea lets blow the bank and gamble on expensive players trying to buy our way out of the league, cos that worked well last time!!! :angry:

    Dont agree at all that he has to go. This lad has bags of pace, bags of ability and bags of potential.

    What I do agree with is that he needs to be made a little more aware that whan he gets into half decent positions that there are other players in excellent positions with a better chance of scoring. I counted it three times today when he could have put Hughes in and Hughes's reaction to the non pass said it all.

     

    Hughes and Davies are individually the best forward two we have had for some time.

     

    there was one point (southend at home i think?) where davis and hughes looked like they had really clicked as a strike duo, but it all seems to have gone down hill from there due to davis trying to do it all himself.

    A side point. Not only does the support of fans help the performance on the pitch, which it does because many latics players have said so in recent weeks, but for me it is more of a enjoyable experience for the fans themselves when the place is buzzing. Let's face it who wants to sit in a morgue like atmosphere when you could be involved with a great atmposphere. It is better experience for the fans too!!!

     

    Sit in the chaddy near the singrs, today wasthe first time ive ever been mind numbingly bored at a latics match

    Why don't we just play all five of them? Taylor, McDonald and Allott in midfield, Hughes and Davies upfront? Gets Lomax and Eardley going forward, both seem comfortable on the ball and it might do us good to try something different at home, something the away side might not have planned for?

     

    where does smalley fit in, getting better every game and played well against everton.

     

    i personallywould leave things exactly as they were saturday

    i think he was merely questioning the age thing,and possibly the fact he hasnt played in a game this season.

    its his opinion,and i must say the opinion of quite a few tics fans in pubs round chadderton.

     

    we have had 2 weeks to find a replacement,maybe not a lot of time in some peoples eyes,but more than enough in others.

    i think if the keeper had been someone like grant then you would have had 100% onside.

     

    yes its only for a month,but just say it turns out like andy gorams second spell.we could be bottom of the league again and out of cup competitions couldnt we.
