That's a brave call.
Especially if AL will have to pay off the reportedly 300k scholes is on

So lets see now if AL wants to give him the job OR does Scholes want the job? Both have run out of excuses now.
Think its clearly both a yes?!

Surridge came in to the O2 business suite (fans bar, old sponsors box) after his last home game.
A lot of the players go to the same barbers (in Lees I think) and Surridge had come in for a chat with one of the barbers from there.
Surridge was asked straight up if it was homesickness and he laughed and said no, he was enjoying his football and had a place with his girlfriend up this neck of the woods.
Sure he shared a flat with Lang

On Sky Sports:
''Oldham Athletic may know more later this week if Paul Scholes will be able to become their manager whilst retaining part ownership in National League side Salford City.
Sky sources understand the issue will be looked at by the games authorities before the weekend but it’s not clear if a decision will be made by then.
EFL rules state that a person cannot have an interest in two Clubs at the same time, rule 104 states that “Except with the prior written consent of the Board a person, or any associate of that person, who is interested in a Club cannot at the same time be interested in any other football club”.
It’s believed Scholes does not want to relinquish his involvement in Salford City, however the matter would not be an issue unless the National League side were promoted to the Football League in May, and with both sides already out of this seasons FA Cup it would only become an issue in next season’s competition''

I am thinking both clubs agreed given Surridge was home sick for the south. Hence he claimed he was injured and went home a few times.

I can't see it. Head on Man Utd's Academy is a big job to walk away from.
I think he meant it would be Butt who sanctioned a loan move for the youngsters from united?
