    There would be even more common sense shown if they were to confirm Paul Dikov as the new manager.........I don't really see the point in delaying it any further if it is true!!

     

    Maybe due to the fact that he hasnt signed on the dotted line yet, and TTA would look like t!ts if they said this is our new manager only for that manager to go elsewhere?!

    Whilst sat in college I've just come up with a masterplan! rather genius if i dont say so myself B)

     

    We should off load all of the team, or at least everyone earning a half decent wage

     

    Play youngsters for a year with no manager, no backroom staff etc

     

    Relegation guranteed - TTA bet all their money on us to get relegated... therefore we have a huge spending budget next season

     

    In the following three seasons after relegation we gain back to back to back promotion to the premier league

    Its stupid because nobody in the right mind thinks England are good enough to go all the way in the World Cup. I cannot see anyone who doesnt usually buy a season ticket, buy one because of this offer with the prospect of getting their money back - the reason they got one.

     

    If somehow we did win the World Cup (I hope we do but I've got a feeling its Spains time, again...) and all season ticket holders got their money back - I can see this being to much of a financial loss for Oldham and major consequences to follow. All for a few more fans! 30%?!?! NEVER!!!

    I know haha, damn touch screen phone!

     

    True what you say about the fixtures. Our next 3 games are tough and then there’s also a few games near the end of the season which will also be difficult (i.e. Southampton, Charlton...).

     

    That said, this league is full of surprises and anyone can beat anyone on their day!

    Obviously there was thousands that tried to get in. I remember at one stage it was at 40 players, which i think went to 20, then 10...

     

    Even if we Oldham watched the whole series again now, i still think they could find a hidden gem. thats my opinion of course but there did look to be a lot of decent young players on show...
