Not a bad idea watching other teams as a neutral. l wonder have many neutrals go and watch latics. I went to masters football in mancheser last year propably going this year as well l think Leister won or Wovles not to sure but l know it went to penalties.

probably play-offs semi finals last year vs blackpool 3 1 to them it was early kick off that day so after the game we had a day in Blackpool good day but shame about the result.

i have actually said in a previous thread , allott is proving to be the exception to the rule, but lets get tipton back, he was young when he was here, someone mentioned boshell apparantly he is doing well at grimsby, scott and david mcniven are within our reach if we really want them.

 

i just seems if people on here do not know any players except for premiership players they mention past players who were crap when they were here last time.

 

regarding allott, he has been very good this season but he now plays in a different position and could he get any worse than his last spell?, totally different player now, but lets be honest we are 12th (i think) and that has alot to do with signing people like allott instead of trying to keep players like wellens (not a knock on mark, he is currently one of our better players but we should be looking at a better standard)

We are 13th same but we will see at the end of a season 1 game in hand or maybe two in some cases 8 points of the play-offs

It would be nice if Latics were on the radio they are concerened about the manchester clubs these days bbc manchester does not really talk about latics atall

couldn't agree with you more mate! The group of about 6 lads at the upper lookers were singing the hearts out yet nobody, and mean NOBODY, was joining in to support there efforts. In fact they were being looked at by people like people look at caged animals at a zoo, why oh why are you chanting. I was a good 20 metres from these lads and occasionally I would join in with them but with NOBODY chating within a 20 metre radius off you it could make you look kind of stupid. Brilliant away wins at Leeds and Everton and yet the attendance at home seems to have gone DOWN. I give up!!!

Why don't we just play all five of them? Taylor, McDonald and Allott in midfield, Hughes and Davies upfront? Gets Lomax and Eardley going forward, both seem comfortable on the ball and it might do us good to try something different at home, something the away side might not have planned for?

good thinking but l think hazell stam eardley and lomax this looks like a good defence to me. Nice to see Trotman doing well this season. Last season nobody would have givern him a chance but now look at him. We have a very young side which looks like one for the future but l think that we need a bit of experience to guide and demand our team victory.

Am glad wallsall have found some talent in him because we did'nt. I do not think we will see him in Oldham for very very long time just one of those things some players just don't have a good at a club then go to another and then play great football.

He's gone from below average to distinctly average. He's doing the bare minimujm of what's expected. Just a shame Marlon got injured. I think Crossley is slowly getting fitter though and once Skippy is fit he'll have someone breathing down his neck and that can only be good news.
