Yes we do need a winger and perhaps then he wont have to go looking for the ball. Its clear he gets frustrated because he gets absolutely no service and then goes looking for the ball

That striker, like Andy Bishop of Bury, was playing well in non league a couple of years ago, so why weren't they at least offered trials at Latics then ?

It's called spotting potential and moving in before other clubs do, so big fees or wages don't need to be paid if you back your judgement early.

But bringing a player in like that now is not going to help this season. I'm not saying don't bring in these types of players with potential but we need a proven striker at the minute.

Why not put Smalley on the left and Taylor on the right. Taylor can't cross from the left and Smalley cant beat his man wherever he plays

It's not as simple as just splashin the cash. Yes we need some players in but they have to be the right players. Brighton have just paid 300k for a Rochdale striker. Now we can't even afford that so who do you want us to bring in.

We could do this all day. But how many chances did we create today? Not as if we missed loads of sitters did we. We tried playing long balls over the top and everyone was easily dealt with by their defence.

Personally I would of played Taylor, JP, Allott, Smalley in midfield with Wolfy and Davies (with hindsight Alexandra) up front....

So with hindsight if we was to play the game again your front 2 would have been Wolfy and Alessandra(I guess that's who you mean)? That would be a joke

Davies didn't hide today at all. The service to him was dreadful. He then comes back to win it but there's nobody ahead of him. If you would sooner have Wolfy and Smalley upfront then your mad.

So now we are questioning the owners motives for redevelopment of the ground. Without the TTA we wouldn't have a club at all. The TTA have put an awful lot of money into this club and there are still people who want them to splash out to pay players big wages. Isn't that what Chris Moore did? And the reason we nearly went bust in the first place?

You're dreaming this team is going no where this season. The fabled striker and winger haven't arrived and if they do and lets be realistic they're likely to be kids IF they do arrive, that have to learn their trade. If you think we're going to do a 'Blackpool' then you are delusional. Blackpool spent a fair bit, remember we ummed and ahhed about Morrell, they gambled and it paid off. I'd love us to go on a fantastic run but we'd need to win 14 games (MINIMUM) to have a chance of getting anywhere near the play offs. If you think we're capable of doing that you're barmy.

I agree I don't think we will make the play-offs this season but i certainly don't think we'll drop into a relegation dog-fight. We have the makings of a good young team, who when play to their potential can match anyone in this league. Our problem this season has clearly been our home form, this could all change with a couple of home wins and the confidence that brings.

We're not a couple of players away from a decent side, we're several players away from the bare mimium to keep us out of a relegation dog-fight........

Thats balls prozac. With the team we have now we are as close to a play-off spot as we are to a relegation dog-fight,yes we've lost bertand but we don't have a problem at the back so the only real loss is Kilkenny and personally I don't think he warranted becoming our top paid player.

A new striker and a winger and we can push onto battle for a play off spot. Even without these signings if the players we have play to potential and get a bit of luck I believe we wont be far off

Unless they are very confident of us signing a player soon they should not use a headline like that.

Those Chicken Chilli pies taste great, but the pain they cause after is unbelievable. I don't know what they do to my stomach but the pain they cause is crippling

I agree we cant simply blame the fans. At the end of the day the players need to give the fans something to sing about

i speak for others when i say this is not possible if you work on a roof all day for cash in hand, but yes i could do this and take this opportunity for showing me how i can in future save £1.92 on my ticket.
