  1. To be honest i can't see Hughes moving anywhere else for the rest of his career.

He and his family are settled in Oldham and his wife and kids love it here. I can see him scoring goals for us for many years to come.

tbh i think the rivalry between the 2 can only be a good thing just as long as it doesnt goto far

  2. If it is going to take 72 weeks to build we will have to start building it around march 08 for it to be ready for the start of the 09/10 campaign. I guess the TTA will be gunning for it to open for the start of a new season with hopefully a pregious opening match!!

I watched one of the videos on oldhams site and hardy was saying there looking at the stand being ready for the start of the 2009/2010

  3. Ignoring the first 40 mins...THAT WAS :censored: SUPERB!!!!!!

Brilliant, brilliant passing football. As someone who called 606 on the way home said, it was just like last season.

And without Hughesy! This team is going places...

WELLENS WHAT'S THE SCORE, WELLENS WELLENS WHAT'S THE SCORE?!?!?!?!?

Interesting post-note...when I was walking back to my car I overheard a Donny fan saying to another - 'They just stopped Wellens playing, and that meant they stopped us playing'. Sound familiar?

I'm on a big high, huge smile on my face. Let's do Crewe and get a big boy. COME ON YOU BLUUUUUUUUUUES!

ive managed to get out of working sat this week so i think ill be defo making my way down

  4. Oldham have invited Stromsgodset midfielder Kenneth Dokken for a trial at Boundary Park.

The midfielder has been in fine form for the Norwegian side in recent months and has now attracted the attention of Latics manager John Sheridan.

Dokken has been impressed by what he has seen of the club and is hoping to be offered a deal.

"I will not rule out becoming an Oldham player," he told Drammens Tidende.

"At first, I will stay with them this week. My impression is that it is a professional club."

  5. Scolari's Portugal side is one of of the biggest set of cheat ever. I wouldnt want an England team to be like that. Plus, with Mourinho and Lippi in that list you have two managers who are better (I know the cheating argument doesnt hold up with them two but I really cant stand Scolari, and Portugal in the last world cup were worse than Italy for general diving and play acting, and worse than Chelsea have been for it.) Whats important is getting the right man. And Scolari is not the right man.

i reckon O'Neil could do a decent job for us as well just gotta wait and see tbh
