  1. Look what I've started.

All banter and I won't lose sleep over his tweets. The guy's a tool, denying he sent me any tweets and I was making it up, cringingly funny. Wasn't going to waste energy uploading the screenshot of my phone.

Anyway my tweet wasn't an insult, merely a fact. But to reply by having a pop at binmen and that he's still robbing a wage from us, well, sums the modern day footballer up really.

  2. Mvoto has never really gelled with either Diamond or Clarke, maybe he prefers a quicker centre back alongside him who can cover when he's exposed by pace. Unfortunately Latics haven't got this type of player on the books so will have to make do an mend.

It's one thing gelling but it's another thing being completely incapable of heading and passing.

  3. Utter drivel, balls.

M'Voto has been awful all season, and was shocking yet again yesterday. His level of play is so sub-standard, it makes me wonder if we've actually signed a different player to the one we had on loan last season. He looks 3 or 4 yards slower; both in pace and in thought. His distribution is so poor when he has the ball at his feet. The were 2 glaring examples yesterday; one when he mindlessly hoofed it straight out of play from a free-kick from near the half-way line and one when he couldnt find Diamond from a bloody simple 4 yard pass from a throw-in. Dont even get me started on his tumble after getting his feet all wrong on the edge of our area. He won few headers he went for too. Diamond is having to cover for him, end of.

This is no witch-hunt from me - just as far as I can see it; Big Jean needs o be dropped; as simply his performances havent merited a starting spot.

The back 4 was wrong from KO yesterday, and when PD had a chance to sort it out; he made the wrong changes.

On current form, the line-up has to be:

    Diallo - Diamond - Clarke - Lee.

    100% spot on.

Up there for player of the season last year, this year he's head and shoulders the worst.

He's lost a few yards, forgot how to head a ball, and just can't do the simple things...like pass four yards. Nope, he's a liability. A lumbering donkey who's reminding more and more of Lord Kangana by the game.

Drop him for his own sake.

  4. Must of been watchin a different game cause I thought Mvoto was shocking today (I am a big fan of him as well). Didn't win an header second half and looked out of sorts (looked ill to me). Completely misjudged the ball everytime it came near the man (Novak or Lee) when it came near him. Also did a lunge in the box which could have been a pen if it wasnt for covering.

Personally I would put Clarke back in for him next game.

Thank god its not just me. Awful today and has been pretty much all season. Wouldn't just limit it to the 2nd half him not winning headers, was completely misjudging it all game. Very lucky not to give a pen and what was that 5 yard pass to Diamond about...or it should've been a 5 yard pass to Diamond!

I'm a big fan too of MVoto (or at least him last season). On the flip side I thought Reid (who I'm defo not a fan of!) was pretty decent.

  5. I'd like to think that the more rational members clearly regard the "another over reaction on OWTB" as it should be: one or two users having a gripe, maybe/possibly troll-a-lolling and swathes catching the bait. I say let them have a moan, and if it get's on your wick - don't reply. Talk about something else. Like thrashing the Yorkies next week.

Alright Rummy lad? You still going?

Away banker next week I'm afraid, unless they have a man sent off, then our 11 bottlers may turn up.

  6. Keep your wigs on chaps. That touch and shot from Reid was awesome, no arguments there. And yes that was probably his best game for us but I just hope he can recreate that against 11.

And let's not get carried away. 11 v 11 we were poor, Dale were all over us. Thankfully Taylor did what he does best, dive, Trotman lost his head, and the game changed from there.

Still plenty of work to be done but winning breeds confidence.

  7. He was OK today, still completely out of shape though.

Let's not forget we were a man up so Reid had a lot more space and time than he normally would. But that goes for the rest of the team aswell. 11 v 11 and I think we'd have been talking about a completely different game. Still well below par.

  8. Didn't go last night, never once considered it.

Are we a team of bottlers and yellow bellies?

When we go ahead our mentality switches to fear and to settle for what we've got...we know we aint good enough to do that. When we go behind our heads drop. When we go further behind that's when we appear to pull our socks up and fight, but it's easy to do that when the match is over and no pressure.
