  1. Does anyone think the fans can control the owners, anymore than we could control our ex-flakey owner.

Fans need to rally together and support clubs in danger of disappearing and Luton are in real danger of that. A small group of flaky indiviuals shouldn't be allowed to destroy a club that has existed in the community for many years and could continue to do so.

Dock them points for going to admin and maybe dock them again next year if these allegations are proved but allow them to keep playing and raising enough awareness and funds to stay afloat, the police should be dishing out the penalties if illegal payments have been made by the individuals(corporate law, insider trading etc).

We were supported after the Torex debacle and we didn't allow the council to get their own way. Surely Luton should be allowed to stay afloat. After all Raddy Antic did send City down ;-)

  2. I think Clarke would be a great signing he is still 7 years off his peak, he is fast and scores goals even when he does not play well, which is the sign of a good player. Think he would also give us a very different option. The combination of Clarke and Hughes is on paper amazing and if they can stay injury free and Clarke can hit the ground running then it could be a very good season.

£200k is a lot of money but if that is what it takes to bring in a player capable of taking us up then we should pay it, especially because he is only young. I would take him over Parker any day.

    Would be a great addition

  3. You're talking like Oldham fans are the only ones to do this.

No not at all - how many times have we heard Lee Hughes is a murderer, It would just be good if we can get behind the team and focus on that as we are all there to support them, especially when its crap thats when they need the fans,

no-one goes out to have a bad game its personal pride

  4. Where has the humour gone in these chants - die Ricketts die, how long did it take to think that one up and why did anyone follow it.

Maybe we need to start getting behind our own team, the fans as well as the team were crap from the outset today.

I sit in the lookers to and whilst am the worst at getting frustrated cringe when I hear the boos and some of the comments

We need to back the side and make it look like we are backing our club not sitting there waiting for mistakes to happen so we can moan. We are Div 3, the football, the players, refs etc are all 3rd division. However our support at home is far worse than that.

PS no matter how much money you are on, would you really want to stay and play for tics, maybe we have to look at the fans for the decisions Porter and Wellens and many others have made. When we are good we are good, but all too often we are not. We should all be together supporting teh club and its ambitions. Recent events could have spelled the end for the club, now we have a chance to help the rebuilding of it. Crap chants and booing of our own players will not let that happen

Rant over - apologies for going on

  5. He was on ESPN classics last night. Norwich 4 Southampton 5 a game he played in shortly after Uncle Joe scandalously offloaded one of the few players we had with genuine pace and to a club he went on to give 5 1/2 years very good service, before coming back here when his legs had gone but still had the speed of thought to weigh in with a goal or two. Neil was being interviewed about the afore mentioned game and I think he's a coach at Norwich now.

Walsall away at Fellows Park - the last game of his loan signing - the fans singing "You've got to sign Neil Adams" for 90 mins

    Good times

  6. Personally I was a little worried when he first played as he was rooted to his line. However yesterday I don't think he did a lot wrong and maybe two good saves - I think he made them look easy but one on ones rarely are - they don't have to be spectacular to be good saves.

We don't need scapegoats we need to get behind the people with the shirt. Attendances are down which means the moans sound louder, we need to cut it out and support them, mistakes are not made on purpose and I don't think that anyone can fault the current commitment including Crossley's who has played when he shouldnt(ie when injured and we had no real cover).

KTF and the goals and results will come playing as we are
