He's fucked then if we don't do that, right?
Every manager we could appoint is though. Cos of the position we are in (ie. Our lowest level) - only winning matters.
"Nice football" and mid table might be ok if we were in league one... not here. Win games.

Supporters job is to support, not cry every time the going gets a bit tough.
It's not my job to do anything at BP. I'm not being paid.
It's David Unsworth's to produce winning football though & he's crap at it.

You can guarantee that on whatever day Chelsea play, we won't. The two grounds are only a goal kick apart.
I'm not convinced Chelsea v Nottingham Forest is a big TV attraction so, if they have the 3pm Saturday kick off, I can see us playing on the Friday night/Sunday/Monday night. In which case, TV dosh is a possibility.
Obviously, I'll have got all that wrong, so it's now bound to be Saturday afternoon.
I'm fine with the draw though and I've never been to Craven Cottage, so it's odds on I'll be there. Happy days.
Chelsea play Palace on Sunday 30th December & Southampton on Wed 2nd Jan.
They could ask for Sunday for another day of rest. Otherwise it's 3 games in 7 days.
Fulham & Latics play 29th & 1st Jan.

0-3, we'll shit em.
And I agree with Whitts, O'grady is the scapegoat at the minute yet people seem to forget when he went off as a sub against Newport and we had all of the attacking players that people want to see start, we looked MUCH worse and had 0 presence up front. Then he got 2 assists at Grimsby.
We scored a couple after he went off against Colchester but to be fair we battered them most of the game.
I'm not his biggest fan and to be honest I think Miller is a better 'football' player but he's done well the past few games O'Grady.
Both from set pieces - the difference late on last week was the delivery was better

I'm sure you will disagree but for me the DNA of Oldham is attacking football, loads of shots and balls in the box, wingers, scoring goals and conceding goals, often in equal measure.
Granted we haven't seen much of it in these lean times like but still...
If you are being honest. In the last 40 years, how many seasons have we played like that?
In october Ive been watching us for 29 years. My first 5 were like that... and since?! No.

"Performance" wise, for large periods - Newport was better than Morecambe.
I know which game I preferred - It wasn't Newport.

First half awful, second half much better.
Noise in the away end was massive.
Strange place, Grimsby. Loads of “Health Studios”, and a woman in the chippy had gravy on her fish. Not having that.
Fish chips and gravy is normal

If they win, I expect its a bank holiday in Newport.
If they don't bring 12,000 and take over the town again - they should fold.

We wont take more than 800. It is a lot further than people think. Over 2 hours on the train. 800 would be a good turnout.

For me, the lack of ambition comments would be justified if we went for a point. We did absolutely nowt in the 2nd half - but we were 2-0 up. It wasn't even a 1 goal lead, it was 2. There wasn't any need to go for it more than we did.
I'll take that every game.

Just picked up two tickets. 250 left mostly standing but a few for seats too. No queues either FYI
I don't think we will sell out - but it's payday for some tomorrow and could see a bump in shifting the last few.

Ill definitely take a point tomorrow. Yeovil looked handy vs Villa & a Bury fan at work said they were decent with 9 on the opening day.
Mansfield 2-2 & Notts C 4-0 suggest this could be more than tricky.
1100 sold for Saturday. Win tomorrow & we might fill the end at Morecambe

I don't post on here that often any more, but have been on here for years. O4U was one of the best contributors to this forum over the years. I didn't know him personally, but felt like I did through his posts.
Very sad news.
Thoughts are with his family.

I assume business isn’t your strong point? ?
I'm looking at is as a game - not as a business.
Give me what Blackpool recently had (premier league and back again, funded by a bastard) any day compared to years of naff all. I may be in the minority but football is just a game. I'd rather have a go.

....I'd rather there be a solvent League club in 5 years time, than AL dump a load of wasted money on #FrenchLads that sees us relegated / in Admin.... this is why I think we should want to know what his Plan - Short, Medium & Long term - is, so we [via the Trust] can encourage him to ensure the former remains true.
Don't waste £11,500 grand a week on a Menig..... pump that money into the youth system, scouts, coaches & find us more Tarky's. Then, don't sell them for a bag a balls and some new nets when you've found a good one.
I'd rather him pump a load in on players who should get us up. Have a proper go, if it goes tits up then it goes tits up - but let's have a bash at it.

I always thought the next manager would be foreign. Him sounding out Clarke yesterday was a bit of a surprise. Scholes wanted it when Wellens got the job so is an option, but if he has anything about him, he will keep his distance after seeing the way the club has been run recently. I wouldn't even rule out Lemsagam actually doing it himself...
If Clarke was sounded out for the job
yesterday is AL either...
Wanting to prove he just isnt going after an unknown foreigner
Just Trying to do it as cheap as possibleOr
Just wanting a puppetTake our pick.
