They did make nine changes. Decent win but let's not kid ourselves that was Preston's strongest team.

Yeah we had a sky high budget but that was mainl spend on a handful of players, see Appleby or Wijnhard or Hill.

On a serious note about the game, crossing and heading is awful. It's almost the opposite of Latics, attackers always win crosses in to the box and headers always go in.

Yeah that's true, I'm scoring loads of headers. Suppose it makes a change from playing it into the striker quickly turning your man and firing into the bottom corner which worked everytime on 13 lol

I think its :censored:, the gameplay is so slow its untrue, and lets not even talk about the first touch.

Stick it on fast that's what I've done. But the first touch? It's miles better than 13's first touch.

I was a bit annoyed at the player ratings when I saw them but maybe I just look through blue tinted specs too much. Overall great addition to the franchise though, I'm in 6th spot in January on legendary so it's going well so far.

Is it just me who doesnt like these ref threads. Purely because the focus should be on the play not the ref. And inevitably someone always goes back towhen he sent three of ours off and dissallowed a perfectly good goal. Personally i prefer it when the ref isnt noticable

When I started the thread it wasn't intended as a rooney bashing thread. Just interested to see what others thought of him. I think to some extent I had big expectations of him and as he hasn't started on fire its swayed my opinion some.

Because when we signed macdonald I hadn't heard of him and it never really looked a brilliant signing. However I've been pleasantly surprised and I think he's a nifty little player, maybe that's because I had no expectations of him.

I'll back rooney all the way on the field and hope he comes good. I just think he could do with dropping for the moment and let him fight for his place back.

I honestly think Derbyshire would bag a load in this side

I'm not sure if JCH was told to hug the line so much and nod it on to Mcdonald/Millar but it definitely wasn't working and wasn't playing to his strengths
