I dont think Scholes has ever said he would finish his playing days at Oldham. When there was interest from clubs abroad a couple of years ago Fergie said the only club Scholes would leave United for was Oldham Athletic and with Scholes being an Oldham fan everyone put 2 n 2 together and come up with 50. This isn't actually a new story that's just come out we was linked with huckerby in the last transfer window but he got himself injured just before we made our move weather he'd a signed or not we'll never know now. But it has nothing to do with Sheridan not wanting him and getting peed of with the owners Huckerby simply got injured and the move never materialised.
