  1. i was under the impression that we changed the home kit due to carlotti going out of business or changing to carbrini,if thats the case how come scunthorpe still have carlotti and why can't we bring back pukka pies the only good thing last night was the chicken balti pie.

i meant to say supplier all that talk about food. :D

  2. hey we got hammered, but it does not ruin my weekend anymore, weve always been the same, even when we where good:grin:

ive mentioned it on another thread but how many teams have we hammered teams over the years?

most of the moaners will say forest 5-0... but take me back over the years.

    shef utd (a) 5-0

    stoke (h) 5-1

    brighton (h) 6-0

    wimbeldon (h) 6-2

    CITY (a) 4-1

    drunken threads

too true i'am pissed so what we got stuffed today fair play to hereford, but come next sat we are fifth in the table 5 points behind mk dons and we will beat stockport, keep the faith, remember when we won the league we got beat 7-1 at sheff u and 5-0 at oxford we are oldham till we die........

  3. Bullied?

If a club coming in from a higher division, offerring a transfer fee for us and better wages/level of football for the player is bullying - then we can, and might well do.

Wellens left us for Donnie when we were in the same division and people posted comments along the lines of "cannot believe" he is leaving for them, they are no better than us. However - Wellens is now in the Championship. On a personal level I bet he isglad he made the move.

the wellans situation was different, latics give lee a second chance when lets be honest no one would touch him with a barge poll.Fair enough you can't blame him for wanting to play at the highest level, better money etc,but at least sign with us till the end of the season and if we don't go up look for a move then.,the same clubs will still be interested in him,Without lee we don't stand a chance of going up

  4. good post fella. oldham's no rougher than the next town. and if anything, it's probably safer now than it's ever been in my lifetime. police and roadblocks may not be the most enticing sight to an outsider but yorkshire st has gone from the 2nd most violent st in grt manc to somewhere which is pretty safe when you think about the amount of pissed up males who saunter up and down. taxi marshalls have really helped too and should be in every town. along with extra police.

oldham's never been the same since henry africas shut, why did sexy sue never get her kipper out but stan the man bared all........

  5. If they bring their kids, their kids will get to love seeing real football instead of TV football. Singing "we hate man u ..." is pretty pointless at the best of times - would rather be getting behind the team on the pitch.
good post,i'am sure man united fans don't really lose any sleep over us anyway, still going to be hard to get local children to support us when united and city are as big as they are, kids can be cruel if your the only one with a latics top on in your class your going to get some stick.
  6. unless we accept offers for taylor hughes eardley and shez.
at the moment i would say we have a better chance of going up than we did when we lost to pool,we have to hang on to hughes he is the best striker we've had since andy ritchie, think tta should offer him a new contract.
  7. Agree about Killer's against dirty Leeds.

Best og by opposition has to be 6ft 7in Kevin Francis for Birmingham. After half-time he'd forgotten they'd changed ends and, as a Latics corner came over, he drew back his neck to power a header into the Chaddy End net to cries of "One Kevin Francis!" from the Latiics Faithful. Priceless!

He was substituted immediately afterwards.

i,am sure he got 2 own goals in that game, pretty sure birmingham wore our away kit in that game.
